@Jt82pdx Yes, but I think it’s one word: housecoat. I grew up in East Tennessee and my mother used the word often (she also said robe, too). BTW, there are/were house shoes, house slippers, and bedroom shoes or bedroom slippers; those were often worn with a housecoat!
