Rajinikanth: The Iceberg
Everyone thought Rajinikanth was the Titanic: a mighty, unstoppable ship destined to sink someday. Every time his career hit a rough patch, they thought that day had come.
In the 1980s, health issues led many to write him off as finished. He returned with Billa, silencing critics.
In 2002, Baba underperformed and doubts returned. After a three-year break, he delivered Chandramukhi, Tamil cinema’s longest-running hit.
In 2021, Annaatthe faced harsh criticism. Many declared the Rajini era over and questioned his superstar title.
But in 2023, Jailer broke records, set new milestones, and rewrote the narrative.
Every time they thought he’d sink like the Titanic, he reminded them: hes the iceberg.
To me, he was never the Titanic. He’s always been the iceberg. 🙏🔥🔥🔥

For generations, he has given us happiness, laughter, goosebumps and memories for a lifetime.
At 76 and for the past 51 years, he still creates magic and rewrites history.
Tomorrow, once again for the 172nd time, the lights will dim, the screens will ignite and hopefully with all your wishes, the world will witness the love for a man who lives in the hearts of every Indian.
One Sun. One Moon. And One :)

Today I learned that financial clarity matters more than financial complexity.✅️
A simple plan followed consistently often beats a complicated plan followed randomly.😎

The most underpaid person in most companies is the one who quietly fixes things without anybody noticing.
No drama, no email, no "pleased to announce" on Linkedin!
The most overpaid announces every fire he puts out, having started half of them.
At appraisal time if only one could get rewarded, usually the louder one will win.
So what do the quiet ones do?
Become loud?
No!
Learn to leave evidence.
Something as basic as an email to your manager at the end of every week.
Here is what I did
Here is what I planned to, but couldn't
Here is where I need help
Being valuable and being seen are two different skills.
A career needs both.
A team member asked me recently:
When you're earning a decent income, but almost all of it goes toward EMIs, education loans, home loans, or other financial commitments, it can feel like life is on pause.
Every month you're just waiting for the next EMI to get deducted, with little left to invest, travel, pursue your dreams, or simply enjoy life.
How do you stay motivated during a phase where you're working hard every day but don't feel like you're actually living?
How do you avoid feeling like your best years are slipping away while you're waiting for "one day" when things finally get better?
My honest straight answer:
If the debt is due to your own choices, then liquidate those choices.
The car, the house, the phone - all are chains!
Stop acting as the victim.
You have a choice.
Exercise it.
If the debt is not due to your choices, then earn and pay off the loan.
You have no choice.
Suck it up and work hard to pay it off.
I graduated from ISB at the age of 26 with a 14L loan and a 16L business debt that my father couldn't afford to pay.
My day 1 net-worth was minus 30L!
It took me 10 years to pay off the loan, make my networth zero and it was at the age of 36 that I started to build my own networth and live my dream.
Now at 46, I have all that I ever wished for!
Either way, don't whine or complain.
Makes the journey harder.
Accept it - and fix it!
