(If you saw me present "Relational College Admissions via the Old Boys' Club" at a conference, this is the same paper. If you would like to coauthor on a paper doing structural estimation of this model, please be in touch!)

My paper "Information-Based Discrimination" is now accepted at Mathematical Social Sciences, in which I uncover a new-to-economics discrimination channel!
This result is (to my knowledge) the first new theoretical discrimination channel in 50 years, distinct from taste-based bias (favoring members of certain groups over others) and statistical discrimination (interpreting individual performance based on known group attributes).
I am thrilled that our paper "A Position Assignment Experiment Among Active Duty USN Physicians" was accepted yesterday at the Journal of Mechanism and Institution Design! Thanks to Rich Childers for inviting me to this project!
