July numbers are in!!
July kept us busy to say the least! As far back as I have readily available, July 2022 left us as our busiest July in the past 15+ years.
June 22' Stats are Live!
Half of the year is complete with NFD responding to 933 total incidents already in 2022.

If you are not comfortable using fireworks or if you have young children you may want to use safe alternatives instead of setting off fireworks this year. There are many safe options that family and friends would enjoy!
New rules are in place for using consumer grade fireworks. The City of Napoleon has elected to not allow consumer grade fireworks to be discharged. Please look at this information and remember that sky lanterns still are not allowed to be released.

NFD will be performing Active Shooter training this afternoon May 15th in the area of Napoleon High School and the City Building Parking lot. Do not be alarmed by the sound of simulated gunfire in addition to increased police and fire presence.
April run stats show a decrease in calls as compared to last year (612 at this time last year).
With the warmup and outdoor activities increasing, most Fire and EMS Departments see an uptick in calls from May-September.
March Statistics are in with a 5.9% increase as compared to last year at this time.
Crews are continuing to stay busy with the anticipation of call volume increasing during the summer months!
We are now in the timeframe of the Ohio Open Burning Burn Ban. This means no open burning between the hours of 6am and 6pm from March, April, and May. Please contact your local fire department with any questions.
