Rs.1500/month.
Not enough to cover basic living expenses.
Not enough to cover mess expenses.
Not enough to support a student posted away from home.
Veterinary interns are not free labour.

After NEET & 5.5 years of study, we get just ₹1,500/month. We work in risky conditions. Demand: ₹25,000/month. Our work deserves dignity, and our stipend should reflect it. @icarindia @ivri_1889 @ChouhanShivraj @dare_goi @CimmytMl #IVRIINTERNSTIPEND

IVRI interns receive just ₹1500/month despite multiple official requests for a hike. While VCI mandates TA/DA for externships, we bear all travel & living costs ourselves. Fair pay for vet interns now!

[Manish Kherwa @kherwa_manish]

Years of veterinary education, practical training n finally 6 month compulsory internship with 24×7 duties
All for a ₹1500/month stipend?
We demand only a fair ₹25000/month stipend
