The unfortunate death of Tapi district RFO Vikas Desai while chasing a suspected khair wood smuggle is heartbreaking. Salute to our brave officers who risk their lives to fulfil their duties. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. I pledge to support his family financially or any way they need for their livelihood. Requesting the Gujarat government also for a compensation to his family comprising of his wife, five year old son and parents.

🚨 🚨 India Under Economic Crises 🚨 🚨

India is heading towards a structural economic crisis — not because of temporary shocks, but because of four deadly “P” trends that have worsened significantly over the last 10 years. ✅📊

The 4 Ps Causing India’s Looming Economic Crisis :

1️⃣ Population dynamics
2️⃣ Pollution
3️⃣ Per capita resources
4️⃣ Productivity

1️⃣ Population Dynamics
India’s Total Fertility Rate (TFR) has fallen sharply:
2015–16 → ~2.3
2024–25 → ~1.9–2.0 (NFHS-5 & UN estimates)
We are now below replacement level (2.1).
This means:
→ Demographic dividend is ending faster than expected
→ Workforce will start shrinking by 2035–2040
→ Aging population burden will rise before India becomes rich
Countries that get old before getting rich rarely escape the middle-income trap. India is walking straight into it.🤯✅👆🏻

2️⃣ Pollution

Air quality has deteriorated dramatically in the last decade.

Key facts:
→ Number of “safe AQI days” (AQI <50) in major cities has decreased significantly (CPCB & IIT studies)

→ Delhi’s annual average PM2.5 remained 90–110 μg/m³ (10× WHO safe limit)

→ Life expectancy loss due to air pollution: ~5 years in northern India (University of Chicago AQLI 2024–25)

Pollution is silently destroying human capital — the most important economic asset any country has.

3️⃣ Per Capita Resources

India is running out of the most critical resource: water

Per capita water availability:
→ 2011 → ~1,545 cubic meters/year
→ 2021 → ~1,486 cubic meters/year
→ Projected 2031 → ~1,367 cubic meters/year (Central Water Commission)
India is already in water stress (<1,700 m³/person) and moving rapidly towards water scarcity (<1,000 m³/person).

No economy can grow sustainably when agriculture, industry, and households fight for shrinking water.✅🤯👆🏻

4️⃣ Productivity

The engine of long-term growth — manufacturing productivity and its contribution — is stagnating or declining.
Manufacturing share in GDP:
→ 2010–11 → ~17%
→ 2023–24 → ~13–14% (World Bank & MoSPI data)
Despite “Make in India”, PLI schemes, and slogans, structural transformation has stalled.

Without rising productivity, higher wages, better jobs, and export competitiveness are impossible. We are stuck in low-value services & informal economy. ✅💛🚀

The 4 Ps are not political talking points — they are measurable, worsening trends confirmed by government data, World Bank, NFHS, CPCB, and international research.

Population shrinking too soon + deadly pollution + collapsing per capita water + stagnant productivity = a perfect storm for economic stagnation in the 2030s.

Ignoring these 4 Ps while celebrating GDP headlines is like celebrating speed while the car is running out of fuel.

Time is running out.
