आज कांगड़ा के चरान में शॉपिंग कॉम्प्लेक्स एवं मनोरंजन केंद्र का लोकार्पण किया।

इससे स्थानीय लोगों को खरीदारी, मनोरंजन और रोज़मर्रा की जरूरतों की सभी सुविधाएं एक ही जगह पर मिलेंगी। अब छोटे-छोटे कामों के लिए दूर नहीं जाना पड़ेगा, जिससे समय और खर्च-दोनों की बचत होगी।

इस केंद्र के शुरू होने से क्षेत्र में लोगों की आवाजाही बढ़ेगी, जिससे आसपास के दुकानदारों और छोटे व्यवसायियों को लाभ मिलेगा।

लघु एवं सीमांत किसानों के लिए बड़ी राहत: भूमि नीति को मंजूरी की तैयारी

बागवानी मंत्री जगत सिंह नेगी की अध्यक्षता में हुई मंत्रिमंडलीय उपसमिति की बैठक में लघु एवं सीमांत किसानों के भूमि संबंधी मामलों को नियमित करने के लिए तैयार नई नीति को कैबिनेट में मंजूरी के लिए भेजने का फैसला लिया गया।

साथ ही, गांवों में निर्माण गतिविधियों को सुव्यवस्थित करने के लिए मॉडल प्लान को भी स्वीकृति दी गई। सरकार का यह कदम किसानों को राहत देने, लंबित भूमि मामलों का समाधान करने और ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में योजनाबद्ध विकास सुनिश्चित करने की दिशा में महत्वपूर्ण है।

आज शिमला के निकट पोआबो गांव में वन विभाग द्वारा लगभग 5 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से विकसित कमियाना हिल टॉप नेचर ट्रेल के प्रथम चरण का लोकार्पण किया।

लगभग 8 हेक्टेयर क्षेत्र में फैली इस परियोजना में 2.5 किलोमीटर लंबा नेचर ट्रेल विकसित किया गया है, जिसका उद्देश्य पर्यावरण जागरूकता, जैव विविधता संरक्षण एवं सतत पर्यटन को बढ़ावा देना है।

पहाड़ी की चोटी से शाली शिखर, महासू शिखर, नालदेहरा हॉर्स ट्रेल, मशोबरा, क्रैगनैनो नेचर पार्क तथा शिमला जलग्रहण क्षेत्र के मनोरम दृश्य दिखाई देते हैं, जबकि ‘वामन वृक्ष मंडल’ (बोनसाई उद्यान) में 15 प्रजातियों के लगभग 40 बोनसाई पौधे प्रमुख आकर्षण हैं।

इस अवसर पर कसुम्पटी विधानसभा क्षेत्र में वन अधिकार अधिनियम (एफआरए) के तहत स्वीकृत 16 सड़कों के निर्माण के लिए 5.20 करोड़ रुपये देने की घोषणा की।

कार्यक्रम में ग्रामीण विकास एवं पंचायती राज मंत्री अनिरुद्ध सिंह जी एवं अन्य गणमान्य लोग भी मौजूद रहे।

आज विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस के अवसर पर ओक ओवर, शिमला से चिनार ट्री प्लांटेशन अभियान के प्रथम चरण का शुभारंभ किया।

हिमाचल की पहचान उसकी हरियाली, स्वच्छ पर्यावरण और प्राकृतिक सुंदरता से है। इसे सुरक्षित रखना हम सभी की साझा जिम्मेदारी है। इसी सोच के साथ आज इस अभियान की शुरुआत की गई, ताकि आने वाली पीढ़ियों को भी स्वच्छ और सुंदर हिमाचल मिल सके।

मुझे विश्वास है कि प्रदेशवासी इस अभियान में बढ़-चढ़कर भाग लेंगे और हिमाचल को और अधिक हरा-भरा बनाने में अपना योगदान देंगे।

The tragic bus accident near Tarangla (Maseran) in Sarkaghat sub-division of Mandi district has deeply saddened us. The loss of five lives — including three women and two men — in the crash involving an HRTC passenger bus is heartbreaking. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families.

We pray for peace to the departed souls and strength to their families in this time of immense grief.
We also wish a speedy recovery to all those injured. The state government would ensure that the administration provides prompt relief and medical care without delay.

Muck from Four-Lane Excavation Allegedly Being Dumped into Beas River

A local resident from Mandi district has reached out to us with a serious complaint regarding the ongoing construction under the Pandoh Bypass–Takouli Four-Lane Project. In his message, he alleges that the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and the contracted construction company are carelessly dumping excavated muck directly into the Beas River, in blatant violation of environmental norms.

The complainant has also shared video evidence, reportedly recorded on July 7, which shows heavy trucks unloading construction muck into the riverbed. He states that no official dumping sites are being used and that none of the environmental guidelines laid out for such projects are being followed on the ground.

He informed us that despite submitting complaints to various levels of the district administration, no action has been taken so far.

The resident expressed concern over the unchecked operations of NHAI and its contractors, saying that local communities are being forced to witness the destruction of natural ecosystems in silence. His complaint echoes a growing pattern of alleged environmental violations in four-lane construction projects across Himachal Pradesh.

Once again, this raises a critical question: how long will rivers, forests, and fragile hill slopes of Himachal bear the cost of haphazard development?

सभी सुरक्षित लोग करसोग होते हुए रायगढ़ पहुँच गए हैं।

हमारी सरकार हर व्यक्ति की सुरक्षा के लिए पूरी तरह सजग और सतर्क है। साथ ही, ज़रूरतमंदों तक समय पर सहायता पहुँचाने के लिए युद्धस्तर पर कार्य कर रही है।

This movement is not against development — it is against destruction.

This particular grievance has been received from Shri Pradeep Kumar Sharma, Village Dohandi, Post Office Nagchala, Tehsil Balh, District Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. I want to ask — what right does the NHAI have to damage the home of a poor man built with his blood and sweat?

I am receiving countless such complaints from every corner of Himachal Pradesh, which expose the reckless actions of the NHAI.

These disasters are not acts of nature — they are tragedies created by the negligence and corruption of the NHAI. The most painful part is that those who lost their homes and land are still waiting for justice.

Himachal is a fragile hill state — its land, mountains, and ecology are completely different from the plains. Construction methods used in the plains cannot be blindly applied here. We must work with full sensitivity towards our geography and environment, not blindly rush to complete contracts at any cost.

I appeal to you all — stand with us in this fight against the NHAI’s wrongdoings and help secure justice and rightful entitlements for the people of Himachal.
