@DOJ_EOIR how can you keep immigration courts open in Chicago rn? You put judges, lawyers, interpreters, & people in proceedings at risk traveling to crowded court rooms from all over threatening deportation if ppl don’t show. Can you honestly say you stand for justice? Disgrace.

In light of the current situation here in the region & across the nation, I’m calling on the @DOJ_EOIR to close the Chicago Immigration Court. People living throughout the midwest travel to attend these proceedings & keeping the court open increases risk of exposure for everyone.
