Sadly, Nigeria does not have enough transplant kidneys to provide one to each person suffering from end-stage kidney disease who would benefit from a transplant. This shortage is costly to the people who end up waiting longer for transplant or who die awaiting one.

Diabetes screening for vulnerable populations to us at #FTVF is a comprehensive, annual effort that addresses systemic barriers to care and incorporates a patient-centered approach. This is our 12th year of saving lives and ensuring people are aware of the dos and don'ts when it comes to managing type 1 or type 2 diabetes
While many people in Rural Nigeria have some awareness of diabetes, they often lack sufficient knowledge of its causes, symptoms, risk factors, and management
While screening guidelines target all adults over 35 who are overweight or obese, vulnerable groups have higher rates of diabetes and require proactive strategies to ensure early detection.
Are you a heath professional, will you be available on Saturday, the 15th of November, 2025 to help us screen and give health advice to the most vulnerable individuals in Rural Communities? If [Yes], please sign up here: https://t.co/hrljfGFkGm [If you can, please help share link with colleagues, or friends who 'ld love to help save lives]
We beseech you to please comment a dot and help repost this [it is just a dot please] Many thanks and may our good God bless you as you do: @Halymarrh_Bichi @myogiadityanath@Hassandynamiq@tfk_gawat@Habee_xo@DrSyedHaider@SarahTheHaider@denikesfit@IdrisAOni1@aproko_doctor@Tolatheoptimist@thejessikarains@fawntasty@NurseDee3@Nurse_K_@InformedNJNurse@AdaErema@DokitaSharon@musicDokita@the_beardedsina@wakawaka_doctor@drninaansary@P_McCulloughMD@RWMaloneMD@PierreKory@NBSaphierMD@AaronKheriatyMD@RogerSeheult@drsanjaygupta@pashtoonkasi@pashtoonkasi@NutritionTipzzz@KinqKudos@Jomilojju@Mz_Tosyn@CtrlWitchEnny@doctorow@hiqmahknit@Yeesourlarh@YourPengSister@Kabz_creations@Simplymidey1@Kingjalaludin02@the_rofiat

@OmobolaJoseph1@dobsy73@Iwelabi1 Under the Nigerian Companies Income Tax Act, only donations made to approved bodies like charitable, educational, or public institutions are tax-deductible.Any donation outside these approved bodies, or any amount above the 10% limit, won’t be tax-exempt. 🫠 I hope this helps
That was a good explanation. Since it becomes very difficult for drugs or treatments to defeat cancer cells once they start spreading, is it possible to develop preventive drugs *like the polio vaccine* that can be taken before cancer cells even enter the body?
