The US has seen five 1-in-1,000-year rain events in the last 27 days.
St Louis on July 25-26, Eastern Kentucky on July 28, Southern Illinois on August 2, Death Valley on August 5, and now Dallas-Fort Worth on August 21-22.
Latest HRRR has multiple bands of intense dynamic snowfall over Northern NJ and the parts of the NYC Metro over a period of 4-6 hours on Monday morning. I expect some ridiculous snowfall totals coming out of Northern NJ in particular. This is impressive stuff.

National Weather Service
“What’s the low temp tonight”
I tell him.
“I knew the station would be wrong. Do you why I know that? They hired a bunch of Democrats”
I don’t say anything
“Did you here me?”
Yes.
Oh ok.
