Cable companies such as FiOS and Direct TV will be hurt by the number of people switching to streaming. I believe many of these companies will be put out of business one day, eventually leaving us with virtually no choice but to subscribe to streaming services to consume media.

I plan to research video streaming services for my EDTP. I am interested in doing this because streaming has taken over in the recent past. Many are making the switch from cable, and I believe this will affect our society and possibly our economy in the long run. #DigiTechF22B

While it may seem to be the cheaper option, most people end up with subscriptions to multiple sites to have the ability to watch everything they want to and therefore end up paying a similar amount of money.
