If you know me personally, you know that I wear my heart on my sleeve and play open cards.

@Haider recent post on balanced reporting in crypto was serious food as I reflect on an 8 year journey working for Cointelegraph.

When I started as a freelancer features writer for the publication in 2017, my perception of our content was that it was primarily focused on content aggregating and disseminating news and views from mainstream media houses (Bloomberg, CNBC).

Fast-forward to 2025, and I can proudly say we have a fantastic team of journalists, content creators, and social media specialists who produce 99% original content.

We have three newsrooms (US, EU and APAC) led by dedicated news editors, experienced journalists, and some of the hungriest up-and-coming reporters in the industry.

Our social media team is a collection of smart, locked-in platform specialists who love what they do. `

Our video team is the best in the business. We have excellent producers, journalists and content hosts that are creating dynamic video content - from high-profile interviews to industry deep dives and documentaries.

Over the past year, @GeraintPrice and I have worked tirelessly to improve the quality of our journalism, both in print and multimedia form.

We are constantly evaluating our content and strive to deliver balanced news, features, and multimedia content.

Do we make mistakes - YES. That's how you learn and grow. I am the first person to throw up my hands and be accountable for errors.

When we do make mistakes, I take it personally, as it reflects on me personally and us as an organization.

But I guarantee you that the people that make Cointelegraph what it is are passionate about Bitcoin, crypto and the industry in general.
