Yuval was engaged to Moshe Shuva, and they were scheduled to get married a few weeks later.

On October 7th, Yuval and Moshe went to the Nova music festival together. When the men of Gaza attacked the festival, Yuval and Moshe tried to escape in their car, but this beautiful couple was murdered by the men of Gaza, who used guns, grenades, and other weapons on this innocent couple.

Yuval and Moshe were buried side by side in their native Kfar Yona, the hometown where they had grown up and hoped to build their future together.

Yuval Halivni from Misgav Dov was 30 years old and was the father of a 2-year-old child. Yuval rushed to Sderot on October 7th, and kept fighting to defend Israel until October 9th.

During the exchanges of fire and while fighting to defend women, children, and civilians, Yuval was killed in an Eucalyptus grove by Hamas terrorists on October 9th while fighting alongside Dr. Eitan Naman and Avichai Amsalem OBM.

His wife Amit said: "I didn't want you to be everybody's hero. I wanted you to be my hero and the hero of our child, Yonatan. On October 7th, you became everybody's hero"

Maya Goren was a beloved kindergarten teacher, 56, from Kibbutz Nir Oz. She was murdered during the Hamas-led attacks of October 7, 2023, and her body was taken hostage to Gaza. 💔

Originally from Ramat Gan, Maya moved to Kibbutz Nir Oz to build a life with her husband, Avner Goren. For decades, she dedicated herself to the kibbutz’s education system, giving her time, her heart, and her boundless love to local families.

Maya was known for always volunteering her free time to support parents and care for the community’s children. She also served as a caregiver to Kfir Bibas, the youngest hostage abducted on October 7.

After 293 agonizing days, Maya’s body was recovered from Gaza and returned to Israel on July 24, 2024. She was laid to rest in Nir Oz, beside her beloved husband, Avner.

A life devoted to children, love, and kindness was stolen by terror.

22 years old, from Kibbutz Ein HaMifratz.
She loved travel, photography, the beach, fitness, baking and design. After completing her military service, she spent several months traveling through South and Central America with her lifelong best friend, Ziv Frenkel. Lin dreamed of pursuing graphic or interior design and was also considering becoming a Pilates instructor. Her family remembered her as joyful, creative and free-spirited, “like a magnificent butterfly.”

On October 7, 2023, Lin attended the Nova music festival with Ziv. During the attack, Ziv used Lin’s phone to send her mother a final message telling her that they were caught in a terrorist attack and that she loved her. Lin and Ziv were missing for nearly a week before their deaths were confirmed. The inseparable friends were buried side by side at Kibbutz Ein HaMifratz on October 15.
