Buzzing after a wonderful morning gathering thoughts from young people. Climate anxiety is real and as adult's, we need to think carefully about how we support young people to cope. Much seems to be about how we communicate about the climate crisis in the first place.
81% young people feel children aren't listened to on climate change (UNICEF). It's impacting their mental health. Insightful day yesterday at @BucksCouncil Youth Summit discussing this on a ‘debate wall’. Such thoughtful contributions + drawings #climateanxiety#youthvoice
The project is a great example of how local authority and third sector organisations can join forces to drive change. Check out this video to hear reflections from the Residential Reboot team and the young co-designers. https://t.co/6QrFw2NCw5
I love being part of @drum_works. Never thought a novice like me would get to play with such an amazing group of people at the #AvatarTheWayOfWater premiere!
In perhaps a movie first, the Avatar: The Way of Water post premiere afterparty at London’s Natural History Museum features steel drums AND a blue whale skeleton
Never underestimate the power of serious play. Today some of the @barnardoslab team created our spirit monsters! A great way to get to know new colleagues and spot how our strengths can compliment and support each other. #teambuilding#futureofwork#designthinking
For #WorldMentalHealthDay - and every other day too - we’re designing, writing and building a site for young people aged 11 to 25.

Looking for a new challenge? This is a great opportunity to join a wonderful team @theQCommunity as my maternity cover - working on #QLabs with an inspiring team, partners, and members of the community.
Interesting and candid listening on @BBCRadio4 last night about the challenges faced by adoptive parents, and how the social care system often fails to support them. https://t.co/PUewsRhYjF #adoption#systemsthinking
This is fascinating reading. Feels extra relevant having just got back from a long weekend in Jerusalem where Jewish, as well as Christian and Muslim history feels so tangible.
The deaths of 17 medieval Jews: An incredible new genetics paper has just dropped: The earliest Jewish genomes and the story of where they are from and how they died is incredibly important, and central to the origin of contemporary antisemitic conspiracy hatred. 🧵
*JOB ALERT* We are looking for a social researcher who has experience and knowledge within the child sexual abuse and exploitation field and experience completing research with children and parents #research#children#youngpeople#freelance#job#CSE#CSA
