Ole Miss claims three football national championships, all under head coach Johnny Vaught in 1959, 1960, and 1962. However, the NCAA officially only recognizes the 1960 national title.
@NatchezRebel All the nuances of the balk rule to me are like the yellow stakes hazard rules in golf: I know the rules, but it takes a minute to recall all the details and how it's applied.
Unfortunately, a lot of horrible comments from our own fanbase. I understand being disappointed, but these poor attitudes and sore losers are really embarrassing to the University.
A LOT of chatter in the mentions from fans of teams who could not even approach Omaha this season which is truly odd considering it's hating from outside the club.
Ole Miss fans have to be livid right now! Why did the official inject himself into the outcome of this game? Especially with that call at that point in the game?! Wow
Had multiple pitches before with the ball in hand to the head before the glove. Only this time, he steps off as the hand/ball approaches the glove.
Doesn’t make sense.
A "start-stop" balk occurs when a pitcher initiates any natural movement to deliver a pitch, but halts, hitches, or stops their momentum before completing the delivery to home plate. Under NCAA Baseball Rules, a pitcher must use one continuous motion to pitch.

Watched the balk a few times. Technically a balk but not called multiple times that inning on pitch comm issues. Balk emphasis has been on out of ordinary moves which is why Ole Miss LHP not called for balks. They're consistent. This was umpire insertion for little reason.
Ball was tailing toward 1st base. You can see Fawley head away from the plate to try to catch it before Furniss cut it off, then he moved back to the plate to receive the throw.
My angle wasn't great, but I wonder if there's a play at the plate if Ole Miss didn't cut that throw from right field. The relay was a step and a half late.
Today, I’m releasing never before seen intelligence revealing new evidence of past US government funding for more than 120 biolabs in over 30 countries, including Ukraine.
In support of President Trump‘s Executive Order to end federal funding of dangerous gain of function research around the world, and increase transparency and accountability, ODNI will continue working with partners across the Administration to identify where these labs are, what pathogens they contain, and what “research” is being conducted.

Ole Miss made the right call with Taylor Rabe, regardless of the score on Friday. The Rebels need him and Hunter Elliott. Rabe simply goes first.
On the adjustment, not demotion, and why the outcome can't change it being correct. https://t.co/RguYEzmpBo

It’s going to be overshadowed because it’s the final out but I’d argue this might be the best play at third Judd Utermark has made all season.
Just an incredible throw in that position.
