@StevensThia Its always nice having a supportive administration behind you, but unfortunately it doesn't add time. Our inclusion students all have a study skills period with the Special Ed teacher at the same time. This system works well, but it sounds like you can't fit that in. #satchatwc

@StevensThia @SusanBi23696508 At our school now, but special education teachers are stretched very thin, I do not envy them at all. I no longer have someone in the room with me which makes it harder on me, but makes the special education teachers jobs much harder too. #satchatwc

@MsVenturino we cover physical science in 7th grade at my school, I like the idea of letting them have anything but encouraging it to be science.

A4: I think I'm going to try and add a weekly reading time into my middle school science classes where they are allowed to bring something to read or I can provide something, but it has to be science. #LeadLAP

A5: I don't really do anything with the students over summer. The only thing over summer is the AP Physics 1 assignment that I give my upcoming students which would force them to do some reading. #LeadLAP
