If the Chiefs win out, they will be in, and then it is on. It doesn’t really matter if they win the division at this point. Would have to likely play Denver or NE or both before the AFC championship anyway. So win that game, have the other lose or win both, and you still host the AFC Championship game.

Do you see GK and Charles on there? Yes. Because the entire offensive line for the other team is worried about Jones. Plus you use a piece of paper to tell you how hard a player plays or how they affect the other team. Go back and watch almost every play Jones was in. Then tell me how many of those he was double or triple teamed. Yet he still affected their offense and others got the sack or tackle. You cited one play. Meh. When 0-2 I just hoped to get to 4-5/5-4 by the bye week. Get through next week by hopefully find a way to beat a really good Lions team, and get Rice back. Beat the Raiders then hopefully the Commanders and then it is the Bills to be 5-4/4-5. 8 games left with a full offense and a defense that always grows through the year.

The 3 losses were all winnable games and seemingly good opponents. Would not be surprised if all three are playoff teams.

The Chiefs need to be at 4-4 or 5-3 by the time they play Buffalo. If they can get there, the remaining schedule with a healthier squad after the bye looks very manageable. 11-6, 12-5, 13-4 all are playoff guaranteed records and if 12-5 or 13-4 could be in play for a top seed. But we’ve seen before that the Chiefs do not need to be the top seed to get to the AFC championship and potentially the Super Bowl.
