Liftoff.
The Artemis II mission launched from @NASAKennedy at 6:35pm ET (2235 UTC), propelling four astronauts on a journey around the Moon.
Artemis II will pave the way for future Moon landings, as well as the next giant leap — astronauts on Mars.
You are an instrument that Christ uses to love on his children. And, as is evident here, your wisdom and compassion comes directly from surrender to Him. It's a beautiful thing to see. I'm a decades old atheist myself. Recently shown how foolish I have been. Your story warms my heart.
Literally nothing better than this. And I had to work my ass off for decades to have it.
Taking a comfortable unremarkable life for granted, or even worse turning up your nose at it, is the peak of entitlement to me.
Took my son out of school to play hooky in honor of his 13th birthday. We got haircuts and ate at Raising Cane's, which is apparently where middle school boys most want to dine. Then we went bowling together. He is a good-hearted young man full of love and I see in him the strong foundation of the man he will soon be.
Founder of @signalapp, @moxie Marlinspike on Telegram:
"Telegrams not a private messenger. There's nothing private about it. It's the opposite. It's a cloud messenger where every message you've ever sent or received is in plain text in a database that telegram the organization controls and has access to it"
"It's like 'Russian oligarch starts unencrypted version of WhatsApp', a pixel for pixel clone of WhatsApp. That should be kind of a difficult brand to operate. And somehow, they've done a really amazing job of convincing the whole world that this is an encrypted messaging app and that the founder is some kind of Russian dissident, even though he goes there once a month, the whole team lives there, and their families are there."
" What happened in France is they just chose not to respond to the subpoena. And so that's in violation of the law. And, he gets arrested in France, right? And everyone's like, oh, France, but I think the key point is they have the data, like they can respond to the subpoenas where as Signal, for instance, doesn't have access to the data and couldn't respond to that same request. To me it's very obvious that Russia would've had a much less polite version of that conversation with Pavel Durov and the telegram team before this moment. "
@driesvints@openclaw I git version the memory folder but never the .openclaw config. it can have secrets embedded in different places other than .openclaw/secrets . I have a different OS level cron job for config that compresses, encrypts, and uploads to drive.
@GuyFieri you should do a GGG episode where contestants have to fill up a @zipline drone from a local Walmart and the drones drop off their orders directly onto their tables.
When I’m having a hard day I close my eyes and put my hand on my chest and remember my son laying there as a baby. I can still kind of remember the way he smelled in that new to the world 0-6 month phase. He woke up every 2-3 hours through the night for over a year. I was a new mom under the pressures of post separation abuse and family court chaos. I chose my electric bill over groceries a few months in that season and used food pantries. It’s hard to describe how truly bad the circumstances of that time in my life were, and I would do every single moment of it over to experience him as a baby for another day. I cannot emphasize enough how absolutely wonderful babies are. And I know not everyone feels that way, but I did and it seems a feeling worth sharing.
@MattGialich I love Dragonfly..An autonomous ~1,000-pound, radioisotope-powered octocopter flying for years in −290°F temps on Titan is exactly the kind of near-impossible science mission NASA exists to achieve.
As you start today with all the motivation in the world, remember this: it won’t last.
Build a routine. Do it no matter what. When you really can’t, don’t quit or beat yourself up, just do it the next day. Show up, over and over.
It is the only thing that works.
