Telling a concerned parent they should be thankful that you worked until 5:15 on a Friday to make sure you got a phone call explaining why the principal, EC teacher, and regular classroom teacher didnβt know your son was pulled to take an EOG early is not the right response.
So frustrated. As my son walks in for his final days of testing, it truly hurts as a parent to know that Iβm sending him to a school that has repeatedly told him through their actions that he is not important to them.
Do you have a wall of awful? I have a feeling a lot of our teachers, students, and families are dealing with massive walls of awful. How do we as technology leaders help minimize walls of awful? @HowtoADHD

My son loves cars and video games. He learned place value up to the millions by earning credits on games like Forza and The Crew 2 to buy cars like Corvettes and Bugattis. In class, he never sees the content in an authentic context. Authentic and personalized learning please.
@totalstemteach Could you do something simple like testing how long the water runs after flushing a toilet? You can vary the time the person holds down the handle. You could tie this into water conservation.
