Antisemitism has no place here. I will continue to work to protect our Jewish neighbors and every member of our community against hate. https://t.co/YNVHSrZLKR

Happy Cinco de Mayo, Queens! Today we celebrate the rich culture, deep roots, and lasting contributions of Mexican Americans in our community and across the country. From music and food to leadership and community, your impact shapes our nation every day.
I’m here at the Alabama State House standing shoulder to shoulder with state lawmakers and voting rights activists to demand fair representation!
We won’t let state leaders silence Alabama’s Black voters. Not without a fight!! ✊🏾
At a time when newsrooms are shrinking, the coverage of the deadly immigration operations by Chicago Tribune reporters was outstanding. Congratulations to the phenomenal team doing the work on the ground in Chicago.
On National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Relatives, our staff wear red to address the alarming rate of abduction and murder of Native women. On some reservations, Native women are murdered at 10x the national average: https://t.co/Z9w6KDf8Uy
This is the kind of governor California needs! 👏
“Californians can’t afford to live here anymore. They deserve better — someone who who is going to put his or her soul into the fight for working people and that is exactly what I am going to do!” - @TomSteyer
Last night, I hosted a briefing to discuss the humanitarian crisis in Cuba and what I saw on my recent Congressional delegation to the country.
Thank you to panelists Cindy Domingo and Deb Goldman for an important discussion, and to all who came out to learn more.
RNs are joining a national, nonpartisan coalition from June 1 – June 7 to push back on the Trump administration’s Medicaid cuts.
Together, we can stop these cuts from being implemented and build a healthier society that works for all of us, not just the billionaire class.
The Trump administration’s anti-immigrant policies are enabled by practices created, tested, and normalized by all three branches of government on a bipartisan basis in the post-9/11 era. New Costs of War research breaks it down. [THREAD]
Each year on May 5, we observe a day of remembrance for missing and murdered Indigenous women and people. This crisis touches nearly everyone in tribal communities, across state, tribal, and national borders. Five years ago, the Legislature established the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and People Task Force, administered by the AG’s Office, to understand and address the disproportionate rate of missing and murdered people from tribal communities in Washington. The Task Force has made critical progress, including developing a Missing Indigenous Persons Toolkit and establishing the MMIWP Cold Case Unit. These are positive steps, but the crisis is far from over, and we must keep pushing forward. Today, I invite you to join me in reaffirming our commitment to pursuing justice for Indigenous people, our commitment to systemic change to end violence against Native people, and our commitment to bring every loved one home.

#Sudan’s health system is on the brink of collapse. UN designated expert Radhouane Nouicer & UN Special Rapporteur @drtlaleng deplore widespread attacks on healthcare, call for concrete action to protect health workers and uphold the right to health. https://t.co/Q9VBxbrs5r
Here we go. Sign up, speak out and remember if your vote wasn’t important, they would not come to snatch it from you. Check your voter registration status and ensure they have not purged you. Voting remains the lifeblood of our democracy.
Big thanks to everyone who joined me for town hall conversations in Umatilla, Morrow, and Wheeler counties. Hearing firsthand about the challenges folks face and their ideas for our state and our country shapes the work I do in the Senate.
More than 100 women and girls are forced to flee every hour in South Sudan, some going days without food, as fighting intensifies.

Human trafficking and migrant smuggling aren't just crimes, they’re multi-billion-dollar industries.
Criminal networks move illicit funds across borders, fueling exploitation and escaping justice.
Following the money is crucial to ending these crimes!
Congratulations to the Chicago Tribune on its Pulitzer Prize win for local reporting.
The country was able to see the impacts of the Trump Administration's chaos and violence during Operation Midway Blitz thanks to the hard work of local journalists. https://t.co/MM7aUqEUOx
Today, @UNIFIL_ facilitated an aid convoy of 30 trucks to Rmeich along the #BlueLine, where approximately 7,000 residents remain.

I was proud to rally at Washington University on International Workers’ Day to support graduate workers and international students.
Higher education must serve the people. That means fully funding research and teaching, providing graduate workers with true livable wages, and ensuring that international students are protected from Trump’s violent and dehumanizing immigration enforcement crackdown.
Solidarity forever!
🔴 Global shocks don’t stay in markets — they show up in what families can afford to eat.
If the conflict in the Middle East continues and fuel prices remain high, even basic staples will be pushed out of reach for millions, driving acute hunger higher in 2026.
