Mental toughness is not something you have just on game day.

It’s something you carry with you everywhere.

Patience in a line of traffic, attentiveness in a classroom, a nobility on the practice floor.

It's a quality of mind.

We’re following a God we can’t see,
for a lifetime we can’t measure,
to a heaven we can’t comprehend,
because of grace we didn’t earn.

Be patient with each other.
We're all looking through a knothole at eternity trying to figure our lives out today.

Most people need love and acceptance a lot more than they need advice.

Leaders should be regularly using the following phrases:

1️⃣ Thank you!
2️⃣ You matter!
3️⃣ You can do it!
4️⃣ I believe in you!

6️⃣ I'm proud of you!
7️⃣ What do you think?
8️⃣ How can I help you?
9️⃣ How can we do better?
🔟 What's important to you?

As I have watched the events in Minneapolis unfold the last few days I have wondered & prayed about how I should respond. Below are my thoughts. I hope you read the whole thing because the final thought is most important. Romans 12:21 🙏🏽

Assistant coaches, don’t take space up on the bench. Value that seat 16 inches to the left. Because that Head Coach to the right needs you. You weren’t hired to stroke their ego, you were hired to challenge them and help grow the program. Invest, take ownership and give input.

TURN BACK THE CLOCK NIGHT.....100 Days & Counting... (November 20, 2019)

[Daniel Makepeace @PureIntensityBB]

If you choose not to participate in offseason workouts, your coach is thinking two things:

1-You aren’t committed. Doesn’t matter what you say. Actions speak louder than words.

2-If you’re comparable to another player that does attend, they’re playing the kid that shows up.

@CompeteTraining @CoachDelks A lot of contact there...

[Maxwell Leadership @Maxwell_Leaders]

Don't ever be impressed with goal setting; be impressed with goal getting.
