@ALTIC_DEV Great work on FluidVoice! Thanks for building local and private tools!
I was wondering if you would be willing to share anything about the progress of FluidWrite?
@KyleHessling1@JoelDeTeves This looks great! Can you share the slide deck prompt? I’ve struggled to get quality results like this that don’t have a AI aesthetic, so I’d love to learn by example.
@AndyNaselli, I thought you might find this tool useful for creating hyperlinked bibliographies that open local Zotero entries or for linking to external notes in Zotero, etc. Use Hookmark to link to Zotero: https://t.co/WriqOCdSbn
@mattyglesias I’m curious about whether you think YIMBY support for high density housing is at odds with being pro population growth? Obviously, America would still have low density options for the foreseeable future, but does high housing a symptom or cause of low fertility?
First, all have adopted ultra-dense housing configurations. Here is Macao, with a fertility rate that was just 0.58 births per woman in 2023. Seoul, with a TFR of just 0.54, is just as dense.
Such extreme density is not necessary. Most of Korea is sparsely populated! 4/14
@NeilShenvi The Open to Debate podcast covers a wide range of public policy topics, but they’ve had some good debates on climate change. https://t.co/76HLkzg77i
@bendreyfuss You should see some of the store names here in Asia. This is just a sample of the kinds of names I see all the time. https://t.co/1NeeOTqLcA
@theUrbanArab I know Israel has committed atrocities. My general sympathy towards them is due to the relative restraint they’ve shown over decades of terror and rocket attacks. What other country would tolerate such a threat? What would you have them do in the face of last week’s attack?
@theUrbanArab I know it’s not nearly the same experience, but I grew up in Côte d’Ivoire. Most of my friends were Lebanese because we all went to a small French school. I heard many stories of innocent family members who had been killed by Israeli forces. 1/
🧵Now that day has broken, and we're getting better evidence, I'm willing to share some PRELIMINARY thoughts on the al-Ahli hospital explosion. The photos of the scene are, to me, not consistent with an airstrike and are not consistent with claims that 500+ people were killed.
@theUrbanArab I respect that you are willing to speak up against error that you perceive in the church.
I’ve prayed for CBC many times over the years, and I’ll continue praying for God’s blessing in your ministry.
