@YourFriendKwaku I'm sure you found some bad stuff.
You using that URL for this purpose of really weird to me. Like others are saying, this doesn't seem like the right move.
“Parents, if your child struggles with a gospel principle or prophetic teaching, please resist any type of evil speaking or activism toward the Church or its leaders.” #ElderCorbitt | #GeneralConference
@NoblestCalling@RadderdaySaint He was in the Europe East area presidency when I was on my mission almost a decade ago, so this person wants to sue him for a perceived slight from like 15 years ago?
The Savior lives, and He leads The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I have felt His love in my life and His love and concern for Heavenly Father’s children. The invitation to come to Him is an offer of peace. #GeneralConference
Once again, I'm advocating that newsrooms employ a token conservative who can look at their headlines and say things like "maybe we shouldn't imply that Republicans deserve to have their children murdered because of their politics"
A self-identified trans person with a manifesto shoots up a Christian school, and the media have decided to run with Tennessee legislators owning guns, "anti-trans legislation," and The Daily Wire. The dishonest pretzling is astonishing.
@Sherman25K@withkwaku My 2 cents: to become closer to God and Jesus Christ's nature, we need to be sealed; I assume this is because they are/will be in the same situation.
As for children being sealed to parents, the best I've got are promises that we will have each other in the eternities.
@Sherman25K@withkwaku Doctrine and Covenants 131:1-4. Similar to there being 3 degrees of glory, the highest glory (celestial kingdom) has 3 degrees in itself. The highest level requires sealing. We can speculate why (even based on prophetic teaching) but I don't have a definitive answer for you.
