@ArmyMudPuppy Two days prior to the SASC amendment, the HASC passed an amendment requiring that combat arms return to the gender neutral ACFT standards. The SASC added the amendment to replace the ACFT with the APFT to negate the HASC amendment in reconciliation. Likely Result: No change.

This weekend the Red Knight Battalion was able to hold our World War II-themed battalion ball. It was a great evening of recognizing our battalion’s storied history, the professional and social contributions of our Soldiers and spouses, and building espirit de corps.
Not a lot to see, but plenty to hear. Tank mechanic trainees at the Ordnance Exercise come under night attack at the UMCP. Utilizing the thermal systems on a tank awaiting repair, they identified the opposing force, and shifted their dispositions to thwart the attack! 🪖 💥
