Typically insightful interviews, but this one was disappointing. @RestIsPolitics team seemed more interested in non-existent dad issues and feelings towards Corbyn than discussing policy beyond VAT & early years. No mention of FE, HE, NEETs, skills, RAAC, ed devaluation etc.

@campbellclaret @RoryStewartUK The more I think about the Phillipson interview, the more disappointing it gets. There was more spent asking about nonexistent dad issues & Corbyn than any in-depth discussion on education, with no mention of FE, HE, skills, retraining, RAAC, etc
