Sarah Heringer is filing a wrongful death lawsuit against the City of Cincinnati one year after her husband Patrick was murdered in their OTR home.

Convicted felon Mordecia Black, who shouldn’t have been free, cut his ankle monitor, disappeared from a halfway house, broke in, and stabbed Patrick to death while he protected his wife.

The system failed them completely. Black had one of the worst rap sheets around and the state lost track of him. Now a good business owner and community man is gone.

Sarah’s fighting back. Prayers for her and real justice for Patrick.
