@MarkZuckerman Nats have the most predictable playbook in the league. Day after day with the same moves that have a painful history of not working in our favor.
@klwoodjr The sting is 100% worse since it was against the Phillies. We had them on the ropes 3 consecutive games and just rolled over every time. The burn is deep today for sure but the message has never been more clear to Paul and Learners that our current bullpen arms can’t win games.
@klwoodjr I feel bad for Butera. He has little to no reliable arms to turn to in the bullpen. However, I hang last nights loss on him. He’s too reliant on analytics late in games and consistently goes with match ups. If you’ve got a guy dealing (Ribalta) then just let him deal.
@sinko47@mimico1958@MarkZuckerman 17 pitches with 13 of those were strikes lastnight with no hits/no runs. That’s cooking in my book. He faced one of the best sticks in the game tonight and gave up a walk after a 10 pitch AB. This one is on coach relying too much on analytics vs. having an eye for the game.
@ErnestStacey123@MarkZuckerman How Parker ever gets a chance to pitch when we have a lead blows my mind. He sealed his fate in San Fran when he gave up the slam.
