Northern cardinals stay year-round in southern #Ontario. Lucky us! #DYK the red pigment in the male’s feathers comes from carotenoids in their food? Imagine a natural burial ground with serviceberry trees: a feast for the birds and those who spot their brilliant colour! 😍
