Life be so funny… I haven’t seen someone I talked to in 2016/2017 since 2017! Nearly 10 years and now I seeing them? First time was in passing but today was “Heyy how you doing” 🥲😵💫
One thing I’ve learned is that God will never ask you to release something without already knowing how He plans to provide what comes next. Sometimes letting go feels painful. It might be a relationship, a friendship, a habit, a comfort zone, or a season of life you never wanted to leave behind. But if God is asking you to release it, trust that He sees something you cannot.
God doesn’t remove things from your life just to leave you empty-handed. He removes what is no longer serving His purpose for you so He can make room for something better something healthier, more aligned, and that brings peace instead of confusion.
So if God has been telling you to let go of something lately, trust Him. What He has waiting for you will always be greater than what you had to leave behind.
Luxuries we forget that are luxuries:
1. Your mom still around
2. Hot water
3. Feeling healthy
4. Peace of mind & heart
5. Perfect weather days
6. Good food
7. Bills paid
8. Reliable transportation
Women who go silent when something upsets or hurts them, are often experiencing a coping mechanism called EMOTIONAL WITHDRAWAL. It's not that they have nothing to say, it's that their system learned that silence is safer than being misunderstood. Instead of expressing anger or frustration, they hold it in.
You cannot:
Work full time, raise children, keep a spotless home, show up fully in your marriage, maintain friendships, stay fit, build wealth, read books, pursue hobbies, serve only home cooked meals, answer every email, and still make the 3:30 school pickup.
That standard was created to keep you exhausted and blaming yourself. Let it go.
