Nagoya and Japan have written a proud new chapter in cricket's history. Congratulations to Team India @BCCI on a campaign worthy of this moment, and heartfelt thanks to every competing nation, to the @AsianGamesOCA and organisers whose vision brought us here, and to the thousands of fans whose presence reminded us why cricket is so special anywhere in the world. @CricketJapan
Captain Smit Machchhar, you stood strong when it mattered the most!! It’s not easy to stare adversity in the face and put one’s safety on the line… but you did just that to protect those onboard and showed us what being a Captain entails. A true display of courage and duty. Wishing you a speedy recovery, the country is proud of you…
Yes, Sir!
PM acknowledges what hate would have been manufactured against India and Indian pilots if Capt. Smit, in spite of his valiant efforts, had failed to prevent the terrorist from crashing.
#WATCH | PM Modi speaks with Flydubai Captain Smit Machchhar through a video call and praises his courage, presence of mind and composure in how he saved many lives
The PM says to Captain Smit, "The whole country is praying for you. Maha Mrityunjay Jaap is being done for you and your health. Your courage, presence of mind and composure saved many lives. The country can proudly say that Indians are not those who take lives, but those who are willing to risk their lives to save others."
A heartwarming conversation between PM Modi and Pilot Smit Macchar. PM spoke to him over a video call and praised his extraordinary courage in saving passengers aboard the Flydubai flight.....
Truly a hero . He made India proud 🇮🇳❤️🫡
⚠️ IF THAT FLYDUBAI PLANE HAD CRASHED…
1️⃣ The Indian pilot would have been blamed instantly.
2️⃣ Racists would have flooded social media with “Indian pilots” narratives before investigators even reached the wreckage.
3️⃣ Pakistani troll accounts would have amplified it, turning a tragedy into another India-bashing opportunity.
4️⃣ AI171 and the Phuket incidents would have been dragged in as evidence of a “pattern of behaviour” of Indian pilots.
5️⃣ Every unrelated Indian aviation incident would suddenly have become part of a narrative about supposedly “unsafe Indian pilots”.
6️⃣ Meanwhile, Oman’s lack of any meaningful history of aviation terrorism would have been used to bolster the India pilot angle.
7️⃣ If Indian pilot Capt Smit hadn’t survived & fought back to save the plane, the world would have got an entirely different story.
Captain Smit Machchhar is a HERO.
In the face of the gravest danger and despite being seriously injured, he showed immense courage and an unwavering resolve to protect the lives of others.
His valour helped save hundreds of lives and avert a great tragedy.
India is proud of Captain Machchhar.
Praying for his speedy recovery, renewed strength and good health.
Make that 3️⃣5️⃣ ODI HUNDREDS for Rohit Sharma 💯
An absolutely scintillating effort to power the chase 🙇♂️

Every wound inflicted at Uri was answered by striking the enemy where it hurt. When India decided to strike back, the world witnessed the courage, precision and resolve of the Indian Armed Forces.
This was more than a response. It was a message:

THE HEIGHT OF HYPOCRISY: CONGRESS AND ITS POLITICS OF 'CONVENIENCE'
The double standards of the Congress party and its opportunistic alliance partners stand completely exposed once again.
When it comes to Constitutional bodies and established electoral procedures like the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, the Congress follows a singular, shameless doctrine: Heads I win, tails the system is rigged.
Look at the glaring duplicity:
In Kerala, where the Congress-led front locked horns with the Left to capture power, their leaders were all praises for the rigorous Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process. They championed the purging of bogus entries, credited the meticulous cleanup of rolls for leveling the playing field, and hailed institutional vigilance when it facilitated their victory and ousted the Left. When the process helps them win, it is celebrated as a "triumph of grassroots democracy."
Yet, the moment the very same Special Intensive Revision (SIR) takes place in states where Congress and its allies face inevitable defeat, the script flips overnight:
* When they win: The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process is objective, robust and proof of a thriving democracy.
* When they lose: The exact same institutional mechanism suddenly becomes "manipulated," "flawed" and targeted.
This is nothing but the petty politics of convenience. You cannot selectively trust institutions only when the results suit your political fortunes.
The People of West Bengal and the rest of the nation see right through this facade. A political entity that lacks the courage to accept people's rejection cannot hide behind frivolous attacks on routine democratic procedures. Hypocrisy has a limit, but for the Congress and its allies, duplicity remains their only permanent policy !
Vijay has been doing a great job exposing the DS from the US/West and their funded ecosystems that operate in India.
This DS has long been involved in destabilizing India using propaganda, politics, and protests to attack and weaken any govt that stands up for Indian interests.
He does a great job finding links and exposing the networks instead of simply saying DS, GLISCO, and other BS like me.
Hence #ISupportVijayPatel.
I support 🇮🇳 India - its stability, peace, growth, and development. It's important for every Indian to stop supporting foreign hands - be it citizens, NGOs, or institutes to interfere in Indian democracy. No matter what's your political ideology.
This has been going on for too long since PM Indira's time whenever India stood up for its interests.
Good news for Prepaid Mobile Users in India
The Govt just introduced Telecom Consumer Protection (Thirteenth Amendment) Regulations, 2026, consumers will now have:
• 30-day recharge plans, reducing the need for 13 monthly recharges to 12 in a year
• Voice and SMS-only plans for those who do not need data
• More suitable options for low-budget consumers who primarily need basic voice calls
Many of you had shared your concerns with me about limited and inflexible recharge options. I raised this issue in Parliament on 11th March, seeking greater choice and more affordable options for consumers.
I am grateful to the Government of India and TRAI for resolving these concerns in the interest of greater consumer choice and convenience.
