This Cockroach was infected... Then it's Head Fell Off.

This infected cockroach looks like it has already reached the end -but the nightmare is just beginning.. A giant Ophiocordyceps fungal stalk erupts from it's thorax while an ichneumon wasp finds the infected goat and drives it's incredibly long ovipositor deep into the cockroach abdomen. Then a vibrant green hairy frog suddenly strikes and gulps down the wasp. Days later, the cockroach is buried beneath a white, web-like fungal network. It's thorax cracks, the entire head separates and falls onto the leaf... and from the broken head, a tiny ichneumon wasp larva crawls out. A bizarre chain of fungus, parasitoid wasp, predator, and insect survival -nature can be stranger than fiction.
