I was placed under an embargo for 6 months by the Lahore High Court in September 2015. The mainstream print and e-Media was restricted not to broadcast my speech, publish my statements and photos.
Slain Barrister @Asma_Jahangir dared to represent me in the Lahore High Court to challenge the embargo. But she was assassinated through poisoning.
The paramilitary Rangers abducted an ex-National Assembly member from the MQM, Nisar Panhwar a night after he had filed a constitutional petition against the embargo in the Sindh High Court. He was kept in unlawful custody the paramilitary Rangers for 45 days.
One of the @OfficialMqm senior members, Aftab Baqai filed a petition for the same purpose in the Sindh High Court but he was told to file in the Lahore High Court. On the other hand, the political and religious parties of the country keep trumpeting the drum of democracy, freedom of speech and basic human rights and equally come up with big demands for decisions per the norms and values of the democracy and laws of the land. They frequently produce political processions and gather crowds.
Conversely, rights organisations within the country speak louder on issues pertaining to human rights in Pakistan. These rights organisations raise voices on violations of the basic human rights in their reports and they condemn the arrests of various people and on restrictions imposed on them, but none of them and none of any political or religious party ever joined a single note or the chorus.
They always kept their lips glued on the issue of the embargo on me despite that I'm the undisputed founder and leader of Pakistan's third and Sindh province's second largest political party. I'm the leader of many millions and my party, the MQM solely represents the urban part of Sindh province.
Why? Because the military establishment is behind this and every nefarious design and the country's politicians are military puppets whose strings are maneuvered by the military masters. The political strength of these military puppets politicians are sheer chained voters. Can these chained workers dare to ask their leaders as why they do not raise their voice of concern against the unlawful and unconstitutional embargo on Altaf Hussain since 2015?
The military of the country has since August 22, 2016, held my house known as Nine Zero under siege and sealed. Why did the political and religious parties remain silent on this unlawful and unconstitutional act of the military establishment? Can the embargo be justified under any law or any excuse? Certainly not. The silence of the political and religious parties on this issue is because they are also not free but chained.
The ISI chief is their boss who pulls their strings sometimes up and sometimes down.
The criminal silence of political and religious parties is just a sheer manifest of the hypocrisy and game if mutual vested interest.
On various occasions, even these military puppets criticised the military top brass and even used offensive language. They had frequently been humiliating the top brass. But the military never retaliated. But in my case, the 6-month embargo has entered the year 8 today.
I'm placing my questions before the common men of the country whose rights have also been badly usurped.

پاکستانی ��ین اسٹریم میڈیا نے رپورٹ کیا ہے کہ پاکستان تحریک انصاف (پی ٹی آئی) سے تعلق رکھنے والے رہنماؤں، سیاسی کارکنوں اور حامیوں کے خلاف مقدمات فوجی عدالتوں میں چلائے جائیں گے۔ اگر یہ سچ ہے تو یہ ایک انتہائی حیران کن خبر ہے۔
درحقیقت یہ پاکستانی فوج ہے جس نے ملک پر 50 سال براہ راست حکومت کی اور باقی 25 سال تک سویلین حکمرانی دراصل ایک “ڈمی شو” تھا جس میں فوج نے پس پردہ رہ کر ملک پر حکومت کی۔
ملک پرغیر اعلانیہ قبضہ کرنا ہماری کاروباری فوج کا مشغلہ ہے۔
میں سمجھتا ہوں کہ سیاسی رہنماؤں اور کارکنوں کا فوجی عدالتوں میں ٹرائل کرنا سراسر ایک حماقت ہے،
باوجود اس کے کہ ملک میں ایک عدالتی نظام جو اگرچہ بہت کمزور ہے لیکن بہرحال کام کر رہا ہے۔
یہ عجب نہیں کہ موجودہ کٹھ پتلی سول وفاقی اور صوبائی حکومتیں اس فوجی مہم جوئی پر خاموش ہیں۔
اس نام نہاد فوجی کٹھ پ��لی سول وفاقی حکومت کو طاقت کی بھوکی ملٹری اسٹیبلشمنٹ کی حرکتوں پر پردہ نہیں ڈالنا چاہیے اور اگر وہ فوجی عدالتوں میں عام شہریوں کے مقدمات چلانے کے عمل کی مذمت نہیں کر سکتی تو پھر اسے مستعفی ہو جانا چاہیے۔
دنیا میں کوئی بھی مہذب قوم جمہوریت میں فوجی عدالتوں کی متحمل نہیں ہو سکتی۔

ستمبر2015ء میں لاہور ہائی کورٹ کی جانب سے میڈیا میں میری تحریر، تقریر، تصویرحتیٰ کہ میرانام لینے تک پر 6 ماہ کی پابندی عائد کی گئی تھی۔ اس غیرآئینی وغیرقانونی پابندی کے خلاف محترمہ عاصمہ جہانگیرشہید نے ہائیکورٹ میں میری پیروی کی تو انہیں زہر دیکر موت کی نیند سلادیاگیا اور پھر ایم کیوایم کےسابق رکن قومی اس��بلی نثارپنہور نے سندھ ہائی کورٹ میں مجھ پر پابندی کےخلاف پٹیشن دائر کی تو سماعت سے قبل رات ہی کوچھاپہ مارکر نثارپنہور کو گرفتار کرلیاگیا۔ اس کے بعد ایم کیوایم کے سینئر رکن آفتاب بقائی نے سندھ ہائی کورٹ میں اس پابندی کے خلاف پٹیشن دائر کی تو عدالت نے کہاکہ الطاف حسین پر پابندی کے خلاف لاہورہائی کورٹ میں درخواست جمع کرائیں۔
دوسری طرف ملک کی سیاسی ومذہبی جماعتیں ، جمہوریت ، آزادی اظہار اور بنیادی انسانی حقوق کی بڑی بڑی باتیں تو کرتی ہیں ، جمہوریت اور انصاف کے تقاضوں کے مطابق فیصلے کرنے کے بڑے بڑے مطالبات اور جلسےجلوس تو کرتی ہیں،اسی طرح پاکستان میں انسانی حقوق کی تنظیمیں بنیادی انسانی حقوق کی باتیں تو کرتی ہیں ، اپنی رپورٹس میں مختلف افراد کی گرفتاریوں اور ان پر لگائی جانے والی پابندیوں کے خلاف بڑے بڑے مطالبات تو کرتی ہیں لیکن انسانی حقوق کی کسی بھی تنظیم یا کسی ایک بھی سیاسی یا مذہبی جماعت نے الطاف حسین پر غیرآئینی اور غیرقانونی پابندی کےخلاف کسی قسم کی کوئی آواز بلندنہیں کی۔ میں پاکستان کے عوام سے پوچھتا ہوں کہ کیاان جماعتوں کے کارکنوں میں اتنی ہمت ہے کہ وہ اپنی اپنی جماعت کےرہنماؤں سے سوال کریں کہ 2015ء میں جو پابندی الطاف حسین پر لگائی گئی تھی اس کے خلاف آپ آواز کیوں نہیں اٹھاتے؟ حالانکہ اس وقت تو الطاف حسین نے کسی قسم کا کوئی نعرہ بھی نہیں لگایاتھا۔
22، اگست 2016ء سے میرا گھر المعروف نائن زیرو آج تک seal ہے ، اس غیرآئینی وغیرقانونی عمل پر بھی تمام سیاسی ومذہبی جماعتوں نے مجرمانہ خاموشی کیوں اختیار کررکھی ہے؟ ملک کی تیسری سب سے بڑی اور صوبہ سندھ کی دوسری سب سے بڑی جماعت ایم کیوایم کے بانی وقائد الطاف حسین کی آواز پر پابندی عائد کرنا، اس کے گھر کو مقفل کرنا کیاآئین اور قانون کے مطابق ہے؟ اگرنہیں تو پھر اس پابندی کے خلاف آواز اٹھانے سے سیاسی ومذہبی جماعتیں کیا صرف اس لئےڈرتی ہیں کہ ان سب کی ڈوریاں ISI کے ہیڈکوارٹرآبپارہ اور GHQ سے ہلائی جاتی ہیں؟ کیا سیاسی ومذہبی جماعتوں کی اس مسئلہ پر مجرمانہ خاموشی کھلی منافقت اور حق کی راہ سےمنہ چرانےکے مترادف نہیں؟ کیا
الطاف حسین کے ایک لفظ کے مقابلے میں ملک کی ہرجماعت نے فوجی جرنیلوں اور فوج کے خلاف کہیں ز��ادہ ذلیل اور رسوا کرنے والی باتیں نہیں کیں؟ مگرپابندی صرف الطاف حسین پر کیوں؟ عوام سے اپیل ہے کہ میرے ان سوالوں کا جواب دیں

The number of activists in prisons has exceeded beyond the imagination and they have been denied the right of free and fair trials.
It is natural for me to feel the agony of the aggrieved families when the law enforcers and ISI abduct their men sans any lawful charges. Over this, I can't stay silent. I speak louder and raise my voice of concern. That's why, I've been actively condemning the abductors and siding with the families of those in law enforcers' torture centres. Today, the Pakistan Tehreek-e Insaf @PTIofficial leaders and activists, TV hosts, journalists, YouTubers and independent V-logers are facing this fascism, so, I fully sympathise with them, with their families and equally slam the abducting agencies for acting above the country's laws.
The Police and the paramilitary Rangers are neither producing the Pakistan Tehreek-e Insaf leaders and activists before any court of law nor are they sharing any safety reports with their families. They have their deep state. They have their choices, not laws.
Like every human who believes in respecting the human rights and the supremacy of the law of the country, I also do condemn the federal and provincial governments and the abductors over their unconstitutional actions which are in actual crimes against humanity.
I demand forthwith production of those Pakistan Tehreek-e Insaf leaders and the activists and @ImranRiazKhan who've been in unlawful custody of the ISI before the court of law.
I demand forthwith release of those who were abducted many years ago and enforced to disappear and are kept in undisclosed detention centres.
Those political activists who've been imprisoned without a fair trial must be given the right of the fair trial.
The Chief Justice of Pakistan, Mr Justice Umar Atta Bandiyal should forthwith set up a judicial commission to probe into the horrific extrajudicial execution of the investigative journalist and TV host slain Arshad Sharif and 73-year-old MQM prof. Dr Hassan Zafar Arif and bring those perpetrators to task.

Unions of journalists across Pakistan should raise their voice of concerns over the arrest of the well-known TV host and famed YouTuber @ImranRiazKhan . According to the reports widely circulated on social media, he has been brutally tortured in custody. This can't be justified under any law or excuse.
Conversely, the law enforcers who abducted the Pakistan Tehreek-e Insaf @PTIofficial leaders and activists have also kept them in undisclosed detention centres and despite requirements of the law, none of them has so far been produced in any court of law. This is an absolute crime and negation of the supremacy of the law. The provisions of the country's constitution are very clear on this that the arresting authority must produce the accused before the court within 24 hours of the arrest.
These law enforcing agencies have already been violating the law of the country with sheer discrimination to the MQM leaders and activists. The law enforcers find no impediment while sabotaging the spirit of the law and the constitution. @OfficialMqm is the largest party that has suffered from unprecedented arbitrary arrests and custodial executions.
The law enforcers have arrested hundreds of thousands of the MQM activists sans any lawful charges. They don't produce them in any court of law. Their places of custody haven't been shared with the MQM or the aggrieved families. A large number of these activists are still in undisclosed detention centres. Having been tortured to death, their bodies are dumped on deserted lands.
MQM's 25,000 activists have been extrajudicially executed by the military, ISI and paramilitary Rangers in fake encounters and in custody. 1/2
