As lot of people are curious about this photograph. And this photograph brings back memories of a time marked by deep conversations around the Telangana movement and the idea of Samajika Telangana.
Those were the days when Bahujan thought, social justice, and the political empowerment of neglected communities were central to many of our discussions. Along with Telangana intellectuals, Bahujan activist Augustine garu, revolutionary singer Gaddar garu, and others, we often reflected on the future of Telangana, the need for a just distribution of political power, and the larger vision of Samajika Telangana.
This picture is from the pre-PRP days, when Augustine garu and Gaddar garu visited our home after my father Sri Konidala Venkat Rao garu demise. Beyond politics, it remains a cherished memory of a time when conversations were deeply rooted in social change, equality, and the aspiration to see social justice translated into political power.
Dearest @Samanthaprabhu2 you have always been a woman of extraordinary strength, grace and conviction.
Hearing great things about #MaaIntiBangaaram. Congratulations to you and the entire team on this well deserved success. So happy for all of you!
A few days ago, I came across a video of Niranjan from Hanumakonda, Warangal, who is bravely battling a rare disease and had expressed a heartfelt wish to meet me. Today, I had the privilege of visiting him and spending time with him and his family.
I went there believing I was fulfilling his wish. But it was Niranjan who left me inspired. His courage, resilience, and unwavering spirit in the face of adversity are truly remarkable.
I extend my sincere gratitude to the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Telangana, Shri @revanth_anumula Garu, the Government of Telangana, and the Telangana Police Department, from senior officers to every constable, for their support and coordination.
To everyone in Warangal including Janasainiks and Parents leaders@@JanaSenaParty , I thank you for the immense affection and warmth you have always showered upon me. Your love and blessings are a constant source of strength, and I shall cherish them forever.

Grateful to former diplomat Sri T.V. Nagendra Prasad garu for this timely article in Eenadu titled "Are Indians Safe in the Gulf?" - it reflects both hope and caution.
Nearly 1 crore Indians live and work in the Gulf today, and most of them belong to the Telugu states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Their remittances helped lakhs of families back here in India.
Today, we live in times of uncertainty and constant geopolitical tensions. Who would have thought that the Iran-US conflict would impact the entire Gulf region or that a narrow Hormuz Strait could halt major global trade?
Be it conflict, immigration controls or the rise of protectionist policies - anything could happen in any part of the world, and millions of our workers and professionals might be forced to return to India.
The stark reminder of this article is this: are the Indian states, especially the Telugu States, prepared if lakhs of our people from the Gulf return home? There must be a strategy and a plan.
While we must create more jobs, we must also build platforms that harness the skills, talents and professional abilities our people have built across the world. We must use this crisis as a catalyst to realize the goal of AtmaNirbhar Bharat.

Today, I had a constructive meeting with Hon’ble Union Minister for Jal Shakti, Shri @CRPaatil Ji, and discussed key issues relating to drinking water, river conservation, and preparations for the upcoming Godavari Pushkarams.
We held detailed discussions on the upcoming Godavari Pushkarams and the urgent need to preserve the sanctity of the sacred Godavari River while managing the large influx of devotees expected during the event. I explained the challenges associated with river pollution, including untreated wastewater entering water bodies, inadequate sewage infrastructure in several riverbank habitations, and the environmental pressures that accompany large gatherings.
I sought the Ministry’s support for adopting proven river conservation and pollution-control measures in the lines of initiatives such as Namami Gange and other river rejuvenation programmes. We discussed the need for strengthening sewage treatment infrastructure, preventing pollutants from entering the river, improving solid and liquid waste management systems, and ensuring that the Godavari remains clean and pollution-free during and after the Pushkarams.
Shri C.R. Patil Ji appreciated Andhra Pradesh’s vision of conducting environmentally sustainable Godavari Pushkarams and emphasized the importance of adopting best practices from successful river conservation and pilgrimage management models across the country. He advised officials to undertake study visits to Surat, Varanasi, Prayagraj (Maha Kumbh), and other locations where large-scale riverfront management, pollution control, and pilgrim infrastructure have been implemented successfully.
Most encouragingly, the Hon’ble Minister assured that, upon submission of a comprehensive proposal by Andhra Pradesh, he would personally take up the matter and place the proposal before the Union Cabinet for consideration. This assurance reflects the Government of India’s commitment towards supporting Andhra Pradesh in protecting the sacred Godavari River and creating world-class environmental and public infrastructure for Godavari Pushkarams.
I had requested the Hon’ble Minister to favourably reconsider the Central share under the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) for Andhra Pradesh, considering the State’s commitment to providing safe and sustainable drinking water to every household. Shri C.R. Patil Ji responded positively towards addressing the concerns raised by the State.
I sincerely thank Shri C.R. Patil Ji for his positive response, valuable guidance, and commitment to supporting Andhra Pradesh’s efforts in river conservation, water security, and sustainable development.
I also express my gratitude to Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi Ji, whose visionary initiatives such as Namami Gange have demonstrated how environmental protection, river rejuvenation, and public participation can come together to create lasting change across the nation.

Today, I had a productive and insightful meeting with Hon’ble Union Minister for Rural Development, Shri @ChouhanShivraj Ji, and discussed the progress of rural development initiatives being implemented in Andhra Pradesh
I expressed my sincere gratitude to the Hon’ble Minister for the continued support being extended to Andhra Pradesh through the Ministry of Rural Development. I also thanked him for allocating the 3rd highest funding under VB - G RAM G to Andhra Pradesh, which will further strengthen rural infrastructure, livelihoods, and community development across our State.
I am honoured that Andhra Pradesh has been chosen to host the National Launch Event of VB - G RAM G on July 1, 2026. Appreciating the State’s achievements in rural development, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan Ji noted that Andhra Pradesh has emerged as a national model through innovative initiatives, effective MGNREGS implementation, and strong Social Audit mechanisms. He stated that these accomplishments made Andhra Pradesh the ideal venue for launching VB - G RAM G and for showcasing its best practices at the National Gram Vikas Sammelan.
The Hon’ble Minister appreciated Andhra Pradesh’s effective implementation of MGNREGS and acknowledged the State’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and community participation through Social Audits.
Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan Ji also appreciated Andhra Pradesh’s innovative Cattle Troughs initiative, undertaken with the resolve that no animal should remain far from a reliable source of drinking water, especially during the peak summer months. He lauded the State’s compassionate approach towards animal welfare and recognized the initiative as an excellent example of how rural development can directly support livestock, safeguard livelihoods, and improve the well-being of rural communities.
During our discussion, I shared the success of the Magic Drains initiative implemented in Peddapenki Village. Appreciating its impact on sanitation, drainage management, public health, and overall quality of life, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan Ji described it as a practical, sustainable, and cost-effective model for rural India and expressed his intention to replicate it in his Parliamentary Constituency in Madhya Pradesh.
I also sought the Hon’ble Minister’s support under VB - G RAM G for developing 260 Model Panchayats ahead of the upcoming Godavari Pushkaralu, with a focus on creating pollution-free villages through improved drainage systems, sewerage networks, sewage treatment facilities, and other critical rural infrastructure. Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan Ji responded positively and assured all possible support through VB - G RAM G for this important initiative.
I sincerely thank Shri @ChouhanShivraj Ji for his encouragement, guidance, and unwavering support to Andhra Pradesh. His appreciation for our efforts and willingness to promote successful innovations across the country will further strengthen our collective mission of rural transformation.
I also express my gratitude to Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi Ji, whose vision of Viksit Bharat continues to inspire transformative, people-centric development and empower villages across the nation.

Today, I had a fruitful meeting with Hon’ble Union Minister for Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Shri @byadavbjp Ji, and discussed several key environmental and wildlife conservation initiatives concerning Andhra Pradesh.
I thanked him for the approval of the Aranyaram Common Facility Centre (Training & Research) which covers the units of H.A.N.U.M.A.N -Animal Conflict Mitigation Centre, Great Green Wall Monitoring Centre, Forest Fire Command & Control Centre, and State Tiger Monitoring Centre.
I also requested expeditious wildlife clearances for the Sontyam Road project in Visakhapatnam and enhanced support under the Green India Mission, assistance for Andhra Pradesh’s Great Green Wall initiative, coastal conservation efforts along our 1,050 km coastline, and sought valuable suggestions to keep the sacred Godavari free from municipal and industrial pollution to make environment free from pollution.
Further, I requested support for increasing the number of base camps in the NSTR region from the present 90 to 150. This initiative will significantly strengthen wildlife protection, particularly tiger conservation, while also generating nearly 300 employment opportunities for local Chenchu youth as Forest Watchers, thereby combining conservation with sustainable livelihoods for indigenous communities. I also requested support for the provision of motorcycles and free ration facilities for these Forest Watchers to enhance their mobility, efficiency, and welfare while serving in remote forest areas for which Hon’ble minister positively responded.
We further discussed the need for trained Kumki elephants from Odisha to mitigate human-animal conflict in Parvatipuram district and requested to put a word for the induction of tigress from Maharastra and Madhya Pradesh states to strengthen genetic diversity in Andhra Pradesh’s tiger population. During our discussions, Shri Bhupender Yadav Ji has spoken with the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shri @DrMohanYadav51 ji and extended his support for facilitating these conservation efforts.
I am pleased to share that the Hon’ble Minister assured full cooperation from the Government of India and expressed his willingness to personally visit Andhra Pradesh on 12 August, International Elephant Day. He also assured that the necessary approvals and sanctions pertaining to these proposals would be taken forward on priority before his visit.
Under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi Ji, we remain committed to protecting our forests, conserving wildlife, strengthening ecological security, and building a greener, more sustainable Andhra Pradesh for future generations.
