I always knew I’d most likely grow to live in a world without James Earl Jones but it’s still weird to be here. An undeniable cinematic legend whose presence and gravitas elevated everything he was a part of.
You may have heard the term “Project 2025” floating around, and you may even have cracked open the 900+ page document yourself, only to see a lot of kind of bland, policy-wonk text. So let me crack through the policy-speak and tell you WTF is in this document.

Good news! The $15 part has fixed the refrigerator (for now)!! I did have to buy a $25 crimping tool because the wire connectors didn't fit, but it's cold again!
-No store carries the part, so I had to order it online.
-While waiting for the part to arrive, I had to buy coolers to preserve my food, making this a $150 fix so far.
-If this part isn't the problem this becomes a $1500 fix to get a new fridge.
Thankfully I still had the extra freezer the previous owner left behind, so while stuff did thaw briefly I was able to refreeze it quickly. Gonna be careful with that food, though.
Walked in to find my brothers polishing the silverware, was reminded of a cool gif I saw online a couple years ago. Looked it up and the process was super easy (hot water and baking soda) and in a couple minutes set up the same thing on our table and it worked surprisingly well!
I've been doing SO MUCH WRITING this week, for a bunch of different things, all unrelated to work.
Over three different word documents, all created since Sunday, I've written 48 pages, or over 18,000 words.
Thankfully at two of those are nearly done.
