Some public servants from peons to top officers are making crores through bribes and corruption…
Meanwhile, honest private employees who pay taxes on every rupee are doing ₹5,000 SIPs every month, hoping that one day markets will help them build a ₹1 crore portfolio.
One side loots the system.
The other funds the system.
And then we wonder why frustration is rising among salaried middle-class families.

BREAKING NOW: Shimjitha Musthafa ARRESTED by @TheKeralaPolice
From not even being interested in lodging an FIR to this arrest by Police
Unprecedented !!! Good to see people speaking up for a man too
Kudos to Men's Rights Foundation Kerala for all their efforts in this case
An inspirational tale of grit, hardwork and exceptional efficiency.
Meet Sri Niranjan Satapathy. He joined Odisha govt service in 1988 as a Forest Guard on a modest monthly salary of ₹625 and was currently drawing anywhere between ₹30k and ₹1 lakh monthly.
Despite surviving on such “measly” earnings for 37 years, this remarkable officer worked far beyond the call of duty. So much so that when Odisha Vigilance finally raided him yesterday, they discovered an impressive success portfolio: three multi-storeyed buildings, seven high-value plots, 1 kg gold, 250 g silver, about ₹10 lakh cash, foreign currencies, ₹66+ lakh in bank and insurance deposits, Bitcoin investments, a Tata Harrier, three two-wheelers, and household items worth ₹30 lakh.
If this isn’t the true reward of govt service, what is? No wonder countless young people waste their most productive years taking attempt after attempt for govt jobs, because desh seva pays!
Last quarter I rolled out Microsoft Copilot to 4,000 employees.
$30 per seat per month.
$1.4 million annually.
I called it "digital transformation."
The board loved that phrase.
They approved it in eleven minutes.
No one asked what it would actually do.
Including me.
I told everyone it would "10x productivity."
That's not a real number.
But it sounds like one.
HR asked how we'd measure the 10x.
I said we'd "leverage analytics dashboards."
They stopped asking.
Three months later I checked the usage reports.
47 people had opened it.
12 had used it more than once.
One of them was me.
I used it to summarize an email I could have read in 30 seconds.
It took 45 seconds.
Plus the time it took to fix the hallucinations.
But I called it a "pilot success."
Success means the pilot didn't visibly fail.
The CFO asked about ROI.
I showed him a graph.
The graph went up and to the right.
It measured "AI enablement."
I made that metric up.
He nodded approvingly.
We're "AI-enabled" now.
I don't know what that means.
But it's in our investor deck.
A senior developer asked why we didn't use Claude or ChatGPT.
I said we needed "enterprise-grade security."
He asked what that meant.
I said "compliance."
He asked which compliance.
I said "all of them."
He looked skeptical.
I scheduled him for a "career development conversation."
He stopped asking questions.
Microsoft sent a case study team.
They wanted to feature us as a success story.
I told them we "saved 40,000 hours."
I calculated that number by multiplying employees by a number I made up.
They didn't verify it.
They never do.
Now we're on Microsoft's website.
"Global enterprise achieves 40,000 hours of productivity gains with Copilot."
The CEO shared it on LinkedIn.
He got 3,000 likes.
He's never used Copilot.
None of the executives have.
We have an exemption.
"Strategic focus requires minimal digital distraction."
I wrote that policy.
The licenses renew next month.
I'm requesting an expansion.
5,000 more seats.
We haven't used the first 4,000.
But this time we'll "drive adoption."
Adoption means mandatory training.
Training means a 45-minute webinar no one watches.
But completion will be tracked.
Completion is a metric.
Metrics go in dashboards.
Dashboards go in board presentations.
Board presentations get me promoted.
I'll be SVP by Q3.
I still don't know what Copilot does.
But I know what it's for.
It's for showing we're "investing in AI."
Investment means spending.
Spending means commitment.
Commitment means we're serious about the future.
The future is whatever I say it is.
As long as the graph goes up and to the right.

No apologies. No grief. Only Linguistic Politics. This when Arnav Khaire who committed suicide due to 'Language Warriors' was a MARATHI.
Akshaya, 34, passed away from a brain hemorrhage on 18 Sept.
In his LinkedIn post, her father shared how, at every step, the ambulance, the police, the crematorium, and even the BBMP office, officials shamelessly extorted bribes from him while he was mourning his only child, and that too for services that are simply their duty.
Sadly, this seems to be the standard practice everywhere.
Parents should take this analysis seriously. I believe there is increasing evidence that we are giving way too many vaccines to very young children. This is spreading in India too and we are seeing a rapid increase in autism in India.

Ten quintals of synthetic paneer seized from a factory in West UP.
You think this matters? This is like the gold-smuggling seizures at airport, just the tip of the iceberg. Only 1% is caught; the rest reaches the market and, through that, your home.
Paneer, khoya, dahi, milk, butter, all laced with chemicals designed to kill slowly. All these are prepared by the demographic dividend of this country, who don't care a bit about your health, you, from whose taxes they enjoy freebies; these are your "hum sab Bharatwasi bhai-behan hain" from your school prayers. Greedy, uncouth, criminals.
And don’t fool yourself thinking brands like Amul or Mother Dairy are safe. These criminals have started faking even their packaging, pushing counterfeit products into the mainstream supply chain.
It’s almost a miracle that a project as complex as Mumbai Metro Line-3 ( which had to tunnel through the very belly of one of the world’s most congested cities) is set to be inaugurated in its entirety.
Seeing how even relatively simple flyover or underpass projects in my city take forever, one can truly appreciate what Mumbai has achieved.
The metro project had to navigate relentless resistance: environmental protests over Aarey, legal battles over felling even a single tree, objections from the Parsi community near heritage fire temples, and strict court-mandated limits on night-time construction.
Adding to this are Mumbai’s unique urban realities. Its streets double as homes and workplaces for thousands, cramped spaces packed with dense underground utilities, and layers of heritage structures. All of this make every metre of progress a logistical and legal minefield. That tunnelling machines have inched forward through this maze is a remarkable feat of engineering and persistence.

498A is very very draconian: Supreme Court flags false cruelty cases under section 498A of IPC.
Court was hearing a matrimonial matter concerning a 498A case filed by a woman within 1.5 months of marriage.
J Nagarathna: we are not saying that all cases are false but we have quashed so many 498A cases. 498A is very very draconian.
