@gunsnrosesgirl3 The French kinda already did this. For certain medical reimbursement criteria where the providers need to prove patient treatment persistence in order to get paid it's done over thirteen 28 day periods.
@jasonpizzino@KrownCryptoCave Nope. HK. Because it's a global trading hub and they have a USD reserve issue.
The SARs have a totally different economic rules to the rest of China. They're pushing their CBDC elsewhere.
@Peter_Fitz It's the cryptocurrency Elon has been promoting on Twitter. They're obviously tinkering with the algorithms and things are spilling over in different sphere of interest.
@jasonpizzino@investanswers No offense but that's pure hyperbole. I'm pretty certain if you gave the good people of Hiroshima and Nagasaki the choice of the bomb or a new technology vax they'd take the needle...
@JohnPompliano@GreenLiberty1 IMHO I think 2 major factors (based on living in the US, Australia & UK)
1. Diet. Your processed food is sooo cheap relative to fresh stuff
2. Early access to healthcare. The insurance system is designed around acute care (ie hospitals) but discourages early preventative care
@NBAinthezone @scienceisstrat1 It damages your lungs & their ability to perform gas exchange (that's pretty clear from decades of lung biopsies). Only a certain percentage get lung cancer... but if you look at the life quality of a COPD patient sometimes you wonder if there is a fate worse than death sometimes
@cryptomanran Honestly, I don't think I even know what 'woke' even means now?! Its meaning has diverted a lot from the African civil rights days to whatever mainstream catch-all label it's become now.
If you can work that out then I'll give you the opposite!
@timberowl@itswillmack@ronin21btc True. It's hard to exist on a single income now, although the reason is more shortsighted economics than conspiracy.
Double the labor base by getting females to work. Double it again with job offshoring & expand money supply. That's going to be disinflationary for wage growth
@thepowerfulHRV I borrow $10 from you & will pay you back in 10yrs at 1%pa.
Each year you take the $2 I pay you to a shop & buy some candy. Each year you notice you get less for your $
1 day you realise that I own the shop & have been upping prices on you in order to pay you back
Surprise!
@iggipop01 @DrEliDavid He's a programmer with a PhD. I'm sure he's smart & entitled to his opinion, but I wouldn't give it much more weight than that.
@jasonpizzino Not much other than some analysts slapping themselves on the back for their crystal balling. It's largely priced in already.
GDP is such a crude measure of real economic conditions so I'd consider it a lagging indicator.
I wouldn't expect a rally though. Just churn for a while.
@TheCryptoLark The world's largest military and control of the G7 & global financial order. So it was with the pound and the Spanish Real before that.
@Dennis_Porter_ More likely getting ready for the world of CBDCs & find a niche that still preserves their place in the financial eco-system.
Right now Central Bank's enact monetary policy through retail banks (who clip the ticket at each step) so even CBDCs would threaten their position
@jasonpizzino@CryptoCapo_ How are you reconciling the generally slowing global macro environment & fundamental business signals with the recent bullishness in the equity markets?
Is this all a bet on the Fed not raising rates more & a hope for more stimulus?
