@_ramacat@0xC0DE6502 I did a major overhaul of the Electron emulation in MAME just over a year ago. It's not 100% yet, especially with a certain demo coder, but should be good enough for most use cases and certainly supports more peripherals than any other emulator.
@Devilish_Design@mister35mm I've been playing with the Cortex in MAME and just discovered the Comp 80, so would like to emulate it. Any chance of the ROM dumps?
@RetroBC_Pete@KevEdwardsRetro Ok, I'll slightly rephrase ... it has been shown in a video but hasn't been documented with decent photos of each board, and I'm still not convinced the ROMs were dumped (I enquired fairly recently) and from experience those 2532's are on the edge of their life expectancy.
I blame @Nbarnes70 for this. He alerted me to the existence of the Seiko MAP-1010, a Sanyo PHC-25 'clone' (I'm not 100% sure of the relationship between the two machines). It's half computer, half 80s tape deck and entirely lust worthy ...
