The Good Friday Liturgy will be sung by the Lay Clerks and Choral Scholars at 2pm. With Plainsong, and beautiful music by Monteverdi, Handl, and former Newcastle Cathedral Organist Timothy Hone.
As we begin the journey to Calvary, before arriving at the empty tomb, we start by commemorating the Last Supper. The powerful and moving music for the liturgy will be Josquin’s Missa Pangua Lingua.
