I just saw a TV ad promoting The Rolling Stones new tour, sponsored by….wait for it….AARP.
Honest. Not a joke.
What a great sponsorship partner.

Congratulations @NealGladner. Well deserved. Great choice for the ABA. Longtime Arkansas broadcaster Neal Gladner has been selected as the new executive director of Arkansas Broadcasters Association https://t.co/AxNUvqfV0p
Last night I asked who would win TV ratings; GOP debate vs CMA Awards. Ratings out tonight show no contest, country music won. Bigly. GOP debate lowest numbers of the three. #CMAawards#GOPDebate
Sounds good on the face, but if it is a “consume at Will “service, it’s just not affordable. People need to have some accountability. BMI too high, Co pay goes up? Still smoking, likewise.
Health care should be a right—not a privilege—for all Americans.
With the beginning of the open enrollment period on https://t.co/Ehx4n5mqQN, we can continue delivering on that fundamental promise. Starting today through January 15, 2024, Americans across the country can gain the peace of mind that comes from having quality, affordable health coverage.
You can’t buy the kind of publicity Hot Springs got tonight on ESPN’s “True South”. From the town history to The Pancake Shop to #DeLucas, lots of screen time for Anthony Valinoti. As the host said, DeLucas is “his story told in red sauce”. #visithotsprings#espn#truesouth
Democratic legislative candidate(s): AR Learns ain’t nothing but using our tax dollars so that rich Little Rock families can send their kids to private schools. On our dime!! #arleg#arpx
So very sorry to hear of the passing of longtime KATV News Director Jim Pitcock. Can’t imagine how to count the stories he covered and the young broadcasters he mentored. As @johnbrummett said earlier today, he was one of the good guys. RIP Jim.
Check out the documentary (not new) called The Brainwashing of my Dad.
How a family deprogrammed their once sweet Dad who turned angry because of right wing media.
@gwenmoritz@JayOrsi You are correct. We won’t. And one days notice was classless. But my guess is she’d still have had something to say. Bow tie boy just made it easier.
I served in Congress. I know how it works.
It was highly charged politics, but we actually had bipartisan meetings and discussions.
We had to because there was a Democratic President.
We got things done and we balanced the federal budget.
I know the budget can be balanced because we did it.
@gwenmoritz@JayOrsi Remember the line “when they say it’s not the money, it’s the principle, it’s the money.” When they say it’s not the office it’s the principal, believe it’s the office.”
