@nicksortor Votes still coming in more than 3 weeks after Election Day? They weren't cast on or before Election Day. California must have a a policy of "keep counting until the Democrat wins."
@EndWokeness I wonder if Joy gave the same speech 4 yrs ago - telling Dems how Republicans had good reason to fear the new left-wing govt? And that Republicans should shun meals with family members if they voted for Biden, because Biden supporters might turn in their Republican relatives.
@nicksortor It took 12 whole days post-election to find enough dem ballots to throw the race their way. Experience usually makes one quicker and more efficient. But their magical ballot-finding skills are slowing down despite all their experience.
@dexcaedus @Xcellent78 That's easy to say when it's someone else's pair in a vice. When it's your pair, then you get to decide whether you're willing to part with them to show how brave you are.
@elonmusk That's not the answer any progressive would give. Could Fetterman be a secret Moderate? Or even - gasp! - somewhat conservative? I feel a case of the vapors coming on!
When I woke up the morning after the election, my first thought was of the Democrats:
"Democrats, you are about to be unburdened from what has been and what could be."
And I smiled.
@tomselliott@MichaelSteele What Hakeem Jeffries thinks is totally irrelevant. I may not be enthused about every one of Trump's picks for cabinet posts, but it's not up to me, or Jeffries, or Steele. Trump won the election. If they are confirmed by the new Republican Senate, Trump gets whomever he wants.
"In this moment, protecting democracy has never been more relevant or important," said Colorado Gov. Polis.
So he joins with other "non-partisan" (Democrat) Govs to subvert democracy by undermining the president's authority. Only Trump's of course -won't apply to future Dems
@libsoftiktok Hmm... Not too surprising that Psaki thinks tv fact-checkers are the ultimate arbiters of truth, justice & the American way. Most fact-checkers will back her no matter what she says. I've never been one to get my news from Social Media, but I trust it more than the MSM.
@nbcwashington A better headline:
"Democratic Governors contemplating a run for the WH in 2028 try to convince voters that Dems actually defeated the GOP."
So much is being said about why Kamala lost to Trump but it's simple. Voters aren't fools. You can campaign on abortion, but that can't be the ONLY thing you run on - especially when you misrepresent your opponent's position. We care about other issues like the economy, too.
When you prosecute those who act to protect others from imminent danger, you'll end up with a society where people passively look on while others are killed or maimed.
Daniel Penny should be thanked for acting to save others from a dire threat - not prosecuted.
@JimVandeHei When your opponent wins over 300 Electoral College votes, (not to mention the popular vote) your campaign cannot possibly be considered "flawless". When you spend $1 Billion & still lose, it shows the American people can't be bought.
