Video games can be powerful educational tools. @sarahlcrowley @mattjsilk and I found that players of #RedDeadRedemption2 were better at identifying animals from the game than non-players. Study from @Truro_Penwith and @UniExeCornwall

@neilhimself your responses to the casting hate have just been wonderful. The whole cast are perfect. Thank you all so much; it's been magical to relive it all!
@awintory This is my dream - Journey and Rapture have the best, most heart-breakingly emotive music from anything I have ever experienced.
I treated my old friend @Ashen_Music (now a secondary music teacher) to tickets to tonight's Prom - we cannot wait to hear you guys' work live!
@BesianaX@PaN_BES @sarahlcrowley @mattjsilk@Truro_Penwith Thank you! Yeah, we considered looking at plants, but they're not as detailed in the game, nor as involved in immersive, emotional encounters, so we stuck with animals for a first port of call. There's certainly more plant engagement in RDR2 than RDR1 though... Hmmm... 🤔

Can a popular #videogame teach #naturalhistory? In an online quiz, players of Red Dead Redemption 2 - which features simulated ecosystems - were better at identifying North American wildlife than non-players. @sarahlcrowley @mattjsilk@nedjcrowley https://t.co/IQ9Ph1JQov
