@LondonBiker1968@kehinde_andrews This was in response to Aysha Khanom an Aisian person calling a Black person an N. She's not black.

@DeclandThomas06 @Perry14935172 @NakTory@VirNorvegicus@StuartLock@kehinde_andrews @percent48 Yes, I agree with you that some things Calvin has said is problematic. So its a shame that these views weren't originally highlighted by Aysha, instead of calling him names.
@heatherpmuir@kehinde_andrews@makeitplainorg This was about an Asian person choosing to use a historically black slur against a black person.
Just because someone is called POC doesn't mean they can't have anti-black racist views.

@DeclandThomas06@StuartLock@kehinde_andrews@ak8619R Yes, I can understand people questioning different guidelines for different people. Especially if percieved that someone gets a pass because they've got a black friend.
@DeclandThomas06 @Perry14935172 @NakTory@VirNorvegicus@StuartLock@kehinde_andrews @percent48 As a non-black person, she chose to use a slur that could only be used against a black person. The guy affected said he experienced it as racist, but he respects her right to free speech.

'It's pretty much a cult at this point, that either you sign up to it or you don't'
Calvin Robinson criticises critical race theory after an academic was accused of sending him 'racist' tweets in an online row.
@kehinde_andrews This was fairly interesting, especially as you gave your experiences of being called these terms. Please can you explain whether"black political thought" also extends to non-black people using these terms when referring to black people?
Kehinde explains his views on specifc insults to call Black people. However, he doesn't explain if he's ok with all non-black people using them. Or if it's only his non-black friends that get a pass.
@TrueMythocracy @RangoTheGrump@kehinde_andrews The person Kehinde is defending is Asian, who used the term to insult a Black person. If the roles were reversed and the Black person used Asian slurs - would that be ok?
@terry61201@kehinde_andrews@ak8619R This is where POC / BAME falls down. It was an Asian woman racially abusing a Black man. This term would not be used against her. If the black man called her a P, then got his Asian friend to say its ok - would that be the end of it?
@DeclandThomas06 @Perry14935172 @NakTory@VirNorvegicus@StuartLock@kehinde_andrews @percent48 Working fields would darken skin compared to indoors. If House Slaves were generally chosen because they were the offspring of the white master, they would have lighter skin. Makes me wonder if Khanom chose this specific racial slur because of Robinson's black & white heritage?
