During the course of the events, Science Counselor at Embassy of India in Berlin @eoiberlin (Germany), Dr. Ramanuj Banerjee, addressed the Young Scientists and shared his insights on the diversity of current Indo-German STI activities and future scope of STI collaborations between India and Germany.

The Embassy of India, Germany in association with the Facility for Antiproton and Ion Research (FAIR), Darmstadt arranged an exposure visit for the Lindau Young Scientists. FAIR being one of the largest ongoing international accelerator projects in the world with India as the founder partners and one of the major shareholder countries of the project gives the researchers a first-hand look at the facility, and opens up possibilities for future collaboration across a wide range of interdisciplinary research fields.

An Indian delegation of 11 Young Scientists accompanied by Dr. @Arindam_DST, Scientist, @IndiaDST participated in the 75th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting @lindaunobel (Interdisciplinary Sciences). The Young Scientists had intensive discussions, inspiring sessions and an enriching experience through interactions with as many as 70 Nobel Laureates during the meeting.

The Lindau Nobel Laureate weeklong event was marked by several activities such as Nobel Lectures, Next Gen Science Sessions, Open Exchanges, Panel Discussions, Partner Events & Science Breakfasts, Science Walks, Laureate Lunches and Life Lectures, all of which focused on exchange of knowledge, ideas, and experience between and among Nobel Laureates and the Young Scientists.
