Claire Obscure and the deontological problem (deontology = the view that moral right‑or‑wrong is based on duties or rules, not on the results of an action)… I never thought a video game could be so philosophical.
At the same time I’m wondering whether I would make the same non‑utilitarian and deontological choices in real life that I made in this game, rather than treating it as a mere thought experiment (a hypothetical scenario used to test moral intuitions).
