This is Omri. He was an IDF soldier who bravely fought in Gaza, was seriously injured, and lost his leg. After a very long recovery, he's back to training, boxing, and stronger than ever.
And I also love seeing the U.S. 🇺🇸 flag in the gym.
Today, I pause to remember those who never made it home.
Memorial Day is not just the beginning of summer or a day off, it is a day carried by sacrifice, by empty chairs at dinner tables, by families who kept going after receiving the worst news imaginable.
We honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to this country. People with dreams, plans, people who were loved deeply and are missed every single day.
Freedom has a cost, and today we remember those who paid it.
May we never forget their courage, their humanity, and the families who continue carrying their memory forward.
Gone, but never forgotten. 🇺🇸
