I have not been this angry ever.. but I am seeing red in my eyes now. There's major threats going on

Looked into the current Vic situation and holy shit its horrendous.. Cancel culture is alive and well in the Voice Acting community for anime.

Long story short:

Vic the voice actor was going to a convention. He is the voice of "Edward Elric" from "Fullmetal Alchemist". He started to talk with Maxey months prior that was the voice of "Alphonse Elric" from "Fullmetal Alchemist" that she was going to be attended the convention with him

Her and her agent were excited, they even made a promo to celebrate the reunion of the Elric brothers voice actors after many years.

The images attached are the contract and signature that Maxey did with her agent to appear at the convention. To show proof that this was happening.

However within days leading up to the event. Maxey received a lot of pressure from Voice Actors within the English Dubbing industry telling her not to be seen with Vic through phone calls. That he is someone you should steer clear from.

Eventually Maxey said within the contract she was not suppose to be in appearance with Vic, but nowhere in the contract supports what she said.

Basically they likely threatened an adult's career if she continued to associate with another person that has had his reputation thrown into the mud

This is simply cancel culture worming its way behind the scenes and actively trying to ruin a innocent man's life after over a decade of lies.

Outright disgusting and this angers me greatly.

Sorry I haven't posted at all guys. I ended up getting a new job and with my son reaching one years old and my wife carrying the next one on the way, I haven't had any time to really focus on hobbies lol
