1/ These are giant multinucleated plasma cells in relapsed plasma cell myeloma. By immunohistochemistry, they had positive staining for CD138, CD38, and CD56 and were lambda restricted. CD45 was negative.
B-lymphoma with cleaved cells, think follicular lymphoma or CLL with trisomy 12, pictures below are an example of the latter #hemepath#lymsm#pathtwitter
1/ These are plasma cells with numerous azurophilic needle-shaped cytoplasmic inclusions or Auer rods. In this case, the origin of the inclusions was postulated to be lysozymal. The patient had symptomatic IgG myeloma with focal bone lesions.
CIC rearranged leukemia! Not every CIC is sarcoma and CD45 neg does not rule out leuk/lymph. Here is an erythroid leukemia with strong myeloid (CD43), erythroid markers Glycophorin C, GATA1, E-cadherin, CD71, GLUT1. Consider doing erythroid markers in these. @IHC_guy@JLHornick
