With all due respect Supreme Court of India has a duty towards all sentient beings. SC’s inhumane, cruel & unacceptable approach towards community dogs is leading to mass annihilation of these voiceless God’s creatures all over. Please protect them.
In many cultures, cursing someone to live or die like a dog is commonplace. How sad for the wonderful animal that's been loyal to humans for thousands of years!
We don't deserve dogs, we don't value them enough. And bees, butterflies, elephants, snakes, frogs, trees, forests...
The clock is ticking for us. The Reporters’ Collective has less than a month’s funds left. We urgently need Rs 25 lakhs to survive the April-June period of 2026–27 to continue our fearless, independent and investigative journalism. 1/4

Extremely important
Less than 1% of casualties in Ukraine are children.
That number in Lebanon is 14%, and in Gaza it is 30%.
And yet, the western media (rightly) uses an active voice to describe one and passive voice for another.
Itamar Ben-Gvir, Israel’s minister of national security, celebrates Israel’s newest law: a death penalty applied exclusively to Palestinians.
Israel’s parliament approved a death penalty measure to execute Palestinians. It’s one of the most extreme laws in the nation’s history.
After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today.
I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby.
It has been an honor serving under @POTUS and @DNIGabbard and leading the professionals at NCTC.
May God bless America.
Perspectives you read, make you still believe in wisdom that emerges through the cracks. 🌿
It’s our responsibility to form new Eco-social contracts, to recognise humans as a part of the whole

Today 19th Feb, organizers & a few officials at the Mumbai Climate Week got offended by my posters about the Great Nicobar project in which 1 million trees will be destroyed where genocide will be committed against the indigenous Shompen tribes, another poster about 3 lakh trees will be destroyed for the Gargai dam project & save 45,675 mangroves from the Versova-Dahisar coastal road project.
The organisers @projectmumbai1
asked me to leave as I created a ruckus about polluted air on 17th Feb and police were called to take me off from the venue today 19th Feb.
Don't understand why my posters are seen as a threat during a climate event when we are supposed to raise questions to those in power & highlight the grave environmental destruction going on in our country where the voices of the vulnerable are suppressed.
Are such climate events held for only the rich Indian corporates travelling in their airconditioned cars and living in airconditioned homes have more say? And ordinary people like us who suffer by breathing polluted air and are affected by the loss of green cover and rising heat have no say in such events?

What's most repulsive about Rubio's speech, and the warm embrace it received from the European ruling class, is that its only vision for "Western civilization" is a future of endless imperialist violence.
They have nothing else to offer to their citizens, or to the world. No vision for addressing social and ecological crises, no vision for improving people's lives, no vision for human progress... no other vision for "greatness" besides violence and plunder.
It is, in fact, the antithesis of civilization. It is barbarism.
This article is another reminder, be it tech for mitigating climate, AI or any other solution. Unless we don’t challenge the capitalist structures, we are only going in loops and only making things worse rather than changing for good.

The Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund has just launched a smartphone-friendly https://t.co/FaoiVqdzvj
This is an easily searchable and freely downloadable digital archive initially built around the 100 published volumes of the Selected Works of Jawaharlal Nehru covering the period 1903-1964. There are over 75,000 pages and over 3,000 illustrations to begin with.
The archive will keep getting expanded to cover more text, photographs, audio, and films. Archives across the world containing letters to and from Nehru are being contacted to expand the archive. Books by and on Nehru during his lifetime will be included.
And dearest SC you are doing a damn good job of distracting the nation on non issues. And collateral damage are poor voiceless souls. #delhi#airpollution#supremecourt#dogs
Transiting through Delhi and it’s dystopia! There is no visibility and it’s brown and gray. While I will only spend a few hours here, my thoughts go out to the residents esp children, elderly and those who have no protection or access to healthcare
