someone i know lives in hawaii and has been talking about the fires- nothing wrong with that. but to say “we have an over population problem do not come here” when this person, in fact, went there from the midwest, is really rubbing me the wrong way.

Last night I captured an 85 megapixel photo of our moon by using two telescopes and two cameras. Check out the details up close! The color is real, but much more subtle to your eyes. Increasing saturation reveals the rich geological history of our moon!

[kat @NeighborhoodKat]

people are fuckin nuts. just watched a pilot get berated because a weather delay put him over flight hours. lol like, he can’t change the rules? what do you want him to do

[kat @NeighborhoodKat]

zoom in it’s so worth it

[Andrew McCarthy @AJamesMcCarthy]

Using two telescopes and over 280,000 individual photos, I captured my most detailed image of our moon. The full size is over a gigapixel. Trust me, you’ll want to zoom in on this one.

[kat @NeighborhoodKat]

and how much of this was actually spent to help them? how much was spent on anti-homeless initiatives? how much was the TOILET in ballard? 550000?

[Chris Daniels @ChrisDaniels_TV]

NEW for @komonews —

Seattle has spent ONE Billion Dollars on homelessness over 11 years.

Yet, the rate of homeless and unsheltered during that time went UP.

oof. like you a lot jay but this is called a sweep and it’s proven that sweeps do more harm than good.

why not address the factors that led to these folks facing this situation instead of viewing them as the problem to be solved?

[Governor Bob Ferguson @GovBobFerguson]

Today I stopped at one of two right-of-way sites in Seattle that are being resolved this month – this one at 1st & Michigan where about 35 people had been living. Thirty of those folks agreed to and have moved into supportive housing where they have access to services.

[kat @NeighborhoodKat]
