Honored to have the enthusiastic support of Mayor Jud Ashman and members of the Gaithersburg City Council in this race. Together, we’ve delivered real results - from securing federal funding to increasing economic opportunities.

TPB turns 60 this year! Thank you to all the TPB members and alternates who came to celebrate 60 years of work that connects communities and shapes the region’s mobility. #ThinkRegionally#60yearsofTPB
We must have the juiciest juice in the DC region. Our juice costs about 50% more, so it must be better. Electricity @ 20 cents/kwh vs. NoVa at 14 cents. Their data centers must run on less juicy juice.

@AlexMue72117153 It appears that the solid waste fee increase is going into a separate fund, which already has $100 million in it. The plan, such as it is, will replace the current solid waste incinerator in Dickerson with some other form of waste disposal. Cost and time completely unknown.
Another 7%+ increase in your county tax? The proposed budget includes a 31% increase in your "solid waste fee", which increased by over 400% in 2021. That increase will cost you more than the proposed 3.5% increase in the property tax rate, which increased by 7% 2 years ago.
A correction: the solid waste fee did not increase by 400% in 2021. My own fee did increase by that amount due to a reclassification of my, and my neighbors, building types, which I am currently investigating with the assistance of the county environmental staff.
